Summary: The curse has always been hard on Eda's body, ever since that first transformation. She's grown used to it. But she never thought this would happen.

Comments: This is a look at, essentially, how Eda and Raine broke up before the show. It's painfully beautiful and sad, both of them seeing the ending coming, and Eda isn't quite ready to do the thing that would fix them - stop lying and let Raine in. And she has a lot she's lying about here.

Comes And Goes (In Waves) by hujwernoo (258,023 words, 10/10 works)

I don’t even know where to start with this one, just that it’s mandatory reading for all Five and Klaus fans. A complete reimagining of canon where Klaus shows up in the apocalypse as a ghost. This series goes through, no exaggeration, Five and Klaus’ entire time in the apocalypse, the Commission era, and canon. Gorgeous writing, stays close enough to canon to be in-character, but develops the world so much further it somehow starts to feel more accurate than the source material. The bond between the brothers is so deep and so simultaneously heartwarming and heartwrenching that after reading this, you’ll yearn for it every time you see Five and Klaus interact in canon. This series is one of my all time favorite fanfictions, and I quite literally cannot recommend it enough!

I made this fanart for the fic planet of prophets and gods by hujwernoo. I love that fic so much.

I'm counting this as the fanart of the week. Yes is Klaus again and I still have 3 more siblings to do but I'll do them eventually so it's not going to be a countdown anymore (also omg four days!!!!)

This was completely made with watercolor and a brush, and I like it, I think Im starting to understand watercolors hahahaha

This series. THIS SERIES. Is so masterfully written. Is so long. Is so intricate. And UNDERSTANDS the characters so well.

Fanart from hujwernoo’s absolutely gorgeous ‘where only the lost can find’ series on Ao3, which you should all immediately go read.. Klaus is asked by a man on the street to be photographed for his project on prostitutes. Klaus’s not in a good place, obviously, and it shows.

fic rec! 24K Hunter-centric fic.

Summary: When Hunter is twelve years old, he encounters wild magic, the wild witch who made it, and a reason to break away from the Emperor.

Comment: This is a heartbreaking look at Hunter before and during his time as the Golden Guard. He meet Eda early, though doesn't know it's here, which starts to pivot is worldview. What I really love however was the visual element of this - the author used strikethroughs to show the evidence of Belos's abuse on Hunter's thought processes and it's brilliant.
