Long story from tonight. I'll do my best to summarize.
Searching my kindle that hardly works in it's history for an artist I used to like's art handle to find them. Mostly irrelevant but sets up why I was even on that device. Find bookmarked link to "honey I'm home acapella". MEMORIES FLOOD ME. I go down the rabbit hole with the name "huloā" and a goal. Most search engines think I want hulu. Annoying as hell. Find wiki page for that song, find hulo's cover! Yay! Turns out video is private :( search Google harder. Find reddit post! In vague details but mentions the Latin part!! I know it must be Hulo's because that was the memorable part! End up making a reddit account to send a message on the post. Search YouTube even harder, find what must be Hulo's account! It says along the lines of "if you're here you've gone too far, have you no shame?" Feel bad :(
Yeah, kinda regretting now because something obviously bad happened to Hulo, but this cover has been in the back of my mind for years now I needed it. If anyone else remembers the song and stumbles across this in their own search, I'm on discord at eggnog_ruler and can give it to you. I'd feel bad publicly posting it because Hulo probably doesn't want it public. I don't know about privately so that's why I'm even offering to share on discord.
Side note, that artist I was originally looking for? Privated their main posting account. :( moral of the story? Save the shit you like, you never know what'll happen to it.
