Some concepts I made off of a humanized version of Bastion. The idea being that he’s a former Bundeswehr soldier.

more human observances

face leak when experience strong emotion like happy, sad or bang toe on table

human need wash far more often than omnic. also “shampoo” Does Not Belong In Optic. Cannot Stress Enough.

human clothes all feel different to each other? pyjama soft, shoe hard, jumper warm.

sleep in bed very comfortable! much more comfortable than fold up near charging port.

when whack self on doorframe, not only do it hurt, but leave big purple mark. called a “bruise”. human is very soft, don’t know how survived this long.

food very good, but too much lead to insides hurt a bunch.

human expel a lot of waste. bastion rather not go into detail, can probably gather what mean. will not miss That.

when go into bright sun, body do very strange thing called “sneeze”. not sure if good or bad, feel very tickly.

two hands So Useful! may have to ask torb for omnic modification.

human “taste bud” observances:

fruit very good, enjoy banana most. apple very cronch, grape very “sour”, orange very squirt juice all over bastion face.

raw carrot very good. cooked carrot very not. texture bad.

bird seed is not for human eat.

chili make bastion face leak all over and had to drink lots of “milk”. would do again.

apparently need drink water constant to sustain human body. taste like...nothing, very strange.

have learned hard way not to take bite out of onion.

bastion also learn that pen lid, paper, corner of tablet, clothing sleeve, bottle cap, soil, bullet, feather, hair, dvd, motor oil, lipstick, crayon, leaf, glass, miscellaneous scrap and bird poop are Not For Put In Mouth.

Well, regardless of how disturbing this could get, human legs aren't too different from omnic legs. One foot in front of the other, Bastion. One foot in front of the other.

am trying best, but body shaped so different all sudden, bastion keep losing balance and tripping over own feet.

bastion has toes.

hey guess who has useless knowledge about toes and wants to share bc i saw your tags! toes in humans are for balance and grip, which is why babies almost always take their first steps barefoot. I'm also assuming this is why genji's first cybernetic body had toes, allowing him to get used to balancing in the new body, before the refined body got rid of them in favour of sleek design, since he was used to the new body by then and could balance in, essentially, shoes! :)

like finger? grip floor? maybe take “shoe” off.

information not useless, information very helpful! bastion need lot of explaining.
