A concept idea for BlackDragon (BD for short) that's sort of based off of the concept for Ōkami, where Amaterasu appears to be a normal white wolf to common people, but those that see her for her true self can see her markings and divine instrument. I thought I'd play with that idea for BlackDragon, mostly in my headworld.
The idea is that those with 'the sight' can see her true appearances. The human form just LOOKS skull-like and she has the luminescent markings as well as a fur-lined kind of thick jacket. The animal forms (minus orca-dragon for now) actually have an exposed skull and the markings are scales or skin under the fur. To those that don't have 'the sight', she looks like an average human girl in a worn old hoodie, and as a dragon just a dragon covered in fur. Even the head looks like it's thinner fur but still white.
I'm going to have to play with how I'll design the dragon and animal form colors...since I'm thinking of them just being black with a white face, rather than having any visible markings at all. But we'll see. Thing is, I just wanted to give BD a more 'sona'-like human form, but one that only others like her and those with 'the sight' can see. This doesn't count for my self-ship blog at the moment, but I may change that after I toy with this concept a bit more and decide whether it fits or not. Currently it's just for the headworld/OOC fursona shenanigans, which is 'canon' BD. Not the BD I insert into fandoms and change up to fit the world she's in.
