having an in progress back piece has lowkey made me feel invincible. it is so gender. i want to walk around with a shirt off always so people can see the artist’s work. being a human canvas is so beautiful and with every new piece I am at peace with my own body a little more. thank u for ur contribution to the trans and gender nonconforming community, tattoo artists. you all are amazing. i can be okay with the skin I am in. thank you.

On the next season of: Ink Master
i constantly fear that one day when i’m home alone a human canvas, fully painted to blend in to my house, will be there
Why I'll probably never get another colored tattoo again:
1- The healing process sucks ass. Compared to a linework tattoo (which I'm used to getting), it's a pain in the ass
2- I just wanted to be a human coloring book for children. That seems like fun...
Shapes and colors at work in surreal fashion photography
With color being inseparable from fashion, I am always in awe of fashion photographers who push the boundaries of their craft and make colors work in unexpected ways.
Munich-based Elizaveta Porodina, for example, caught my attention for her surreal, conceptual fashion photography. Her approach to colors, patterns and fashion elements have led to some of the most unique and dynamic projects out there. Case in point is her series titled “Born Free,” which I’m sure will inspire portrait and conceptual photographers in particular.
