Wing girlfriends

This is Thanatos, a joke character I made. He is the palest and shortest human male I could make, and I made him emo. and he's my main now. He's become such a meme in our guild and we love him so much.

Here is my hero forge mini!! I am so happy with him! He has a great level of detail, doesn't feel like he’s fragile at all, and he just looks amazing!

interestingly enough, I needed to soak him in alcohol before the paint would stick. I had forgotten about that step out of pure excitement (and i think they’re 3D printed so there shouldn’t be any mold release/residue on it). I started to paint him and changed my mind on colors (he looked way too much like Thor with a blue-grey robe and red cape), so I lost a surprising amount of detail and went ahead with alcohol to strip him down and then the paint stuck SO much better.

It was also really really nice to not have to kitbash any part of him since I had been doing that a lot recently with the figures I made for my friends. The only extra thing I had to do was break apart a red, glass bead for the skull’s eye.

and now he sits on top of my computer screen! I love him so much. He is a human necromancer wizard whose best friend is a skull.
