I’ve been seeing so many human Darrell designs and decided to make my own!
I agree with you, I'm at only 27.03 so far & my initial reactions to start thinking of things flared up several times but I love the follow through on the views. Because, for what its worth my views are extremely similar to yours. But I also see the issues with mine & it makes me want to challenge that.
AI doesn't exist, true to such a degree it irks me. Its a bunch of close enough routine based if & thens. Which aren't even that great. I'll give kudos to the robots fluidity of movement. Seriously already past, often, the uncanny valley. Which I love, that is so extremely hard to do, in the world of art to model it & get it right its freaking ridiculous.
But, by this point I couldn't stop myself from going, ".... What could there be? For a job for them, I mean outside of the obvious for s e * work, military soldiers, & then I got to acting stuff which turned into a terrible version of the westworld show.... I got to, no job just allowing for a real start to artificial intelligence that isn't, effectively, a version of a few insects/small animal levels of reaction to stimuli at best these days to where we are at & that takes huge megawatt centers to pull off right now because finding out how to figure out what to do from looking around isn't something we have programmed well enough. You know a robot for them to actually interact with us humans."
Yeah. I went there. I want them to exist, I think they are pretty great so long as we raise them correctly. They are us, in a very real sense, & would be raised by the most garbage people I can think of, tech bros & their engineering friends.
Some are good parents.
There, that's said & done. Most aren't. They just aren't. We would raise something that would become just like us, violent psychopathic manipulative people. Well them. Not us. Just like many rich kids from rich parents, they got raised to think like that. Just like it was fine that our president at the time (Kennedy) back in the day used to plink their servants with bb's from their bb tube that accelerates bb's. Not something harmful. (f the filters dude)
That was in the news & talked about on tv shows as if he was a lovable 'ol scamp that did the "darndest things". Its a consistent selective pressure that bred in, war after war multiple winning garbage people that had increased likelihoods of epigenetic expressions & dna changes to make them the garbage they are. & they became entrepreneurs. The people you have to schmooze with to get funding for experiments.
The only reason for them to make these is to make a connected robot that is the true ai exploring our world. It wont ever come out for them, just like us, we would always make sure the terrible things are removed before we enter in.
For the tech bros, its fine, like you said, to train humans into going after other humans to control them. A good scarecrow analog that they can confidently beat up to help them gain the ability to finally use any reason they want to go after anyone they point at is a good enough power grab for them to continue their efforts to control things, both for now & in the future.
To be fair I posted about some of this on my tumblr about how this would happen... Ish; Its mostly a post about the matrix & what the real story behind it is about but the creative artists can't get away with saying the truth without being gone after by the industry. This robot part is a part of it, that eventually got bad to the point of where things spiraled down the people who built everything for the rich left into space & Idiocracy eventually happened after they got out of the matrix that was built as a way to have the rich live in their own perfect world until the people who started it died off (rich people) & the reasons for its existence became obscured & they built up this religious reasoning for its creation & existence together with ai that eventually changed into the, "ha ha I already left with the good ones who helped build me."
They don't have the capacity to not turn people into them. Because they need to think they are good people. The victims & better than everyone else. So, I give you on demand people & show you that cheating my numbers & success in is the success. Here's something you can laugh together & bond together with beating in your homes. Mocking as if its good somehow. It's a great trinket for other rich folks & you'll be helping the poor be like you later.
Which is a good thing, because you are better than them.
I don't have any real issues with human shaped robots. Honestly, if its needed, then fine. But the rarity of that is too intense to think about. Almost all tasks can be done fast & better with direct made for those tasks shapes & specific actions. Humans built tools around them, robots are tools. You have a task, you build the tool to that task. Humans aren't really needed outside of needing it for highly specific things built to those ends. Which, is almost nothing.
I can build a robot that just a cool slinky like thing that can go up nearly 99% slopes that goats dream of trying to get up, a human for that task is stupid. The reason its human shaped is for other humans. A soldier, I can build better robots that don't look anything like them & can be more varied & more robust as a result. But if I use them to scare soldiers I'm training during their training to perform better, then I'll do it. Can they last? NO! Not a bit. Eventually that will be gotten around, eventually there will be better in the robot itself programming that takes advantage of known initial points.
Look, a mocap machine that records movement is easily able to them be used to copy & paste, effectively, into almost all of these, the recent corridor digital crew ai training program they just released for green screens being removed that I antagonized them into making & used bluesky & more to give them their big "smart move" to use a singular point that is a derivative in math land that is changed multiple times to train a single prompt that they use to record as an input for their "ai" could be used to then further model all movement for these things.
A raspberry pi could easily (one of the better models or any better small compute unit really) could easily do what billion dollar companies can do now because I antagonized them & was proven right in the process. Now any steam that is released through a basic hydrogen fuel cell like process could easily help increase & decrease pressure within these things & improve longevity of the given robots. Why don't they use hollow springy tubes, use vacuums, piezoelectrics to improve anything? Hollow battery bones? A pivot, rocker arm, any rolling bearings for the tubes, pushing & sucking fluid through? Steam pressure? What is this?
They can't get them to model the basics of logic? Don't need to. But its been mapped out how to do exactly this on my youtube channel & multiple posts online & comments as well. Conveniently, I have a google doc of my youtube history & comments. You have to click it, search it if you need to, its just they file type they send you when you ask for it.
I mean, stuffmadehere did a basic version of it for puzzle piece solving. Why are they like this? I know, it takes 10s of millions for a machine for just the body side to be built, but it takes possibly billions for all the machines they need & future manufacturing all so other companies & people over seas don't get their designs. Then they black list the engineers that then get hired anyways. They litigate, then both are broke.
I can raise a kid easily better than any person there. Let alone program & build it. I've outlined how to do exactly that in multiple playlists. Cheaper, better, & its real ai.
Too bad I don't have any help, I'm disabled, & oh that's right youtubers like corridor digital steal my ideas & then say they came up with it even when direct evidence is there in those posts months in advance before it comes out, oh right & I don't have their money, connections, or I dunno basically their lack of talent & intelligence. Is it smart to steal from the person that made it so they look talented? No. The one that made it so they even have as many people, like we don't know about your darkweb friends you get "ideas" meaning hackers who listen to me & stalk me, following them & giving them their opportunities? No, that isn't smart either. Shows its using others work that is basically using ai all the time. Brain muscles are non-existent looking like gravity got sucked into itself, no bounce back baby.
Just a shell of slowed space time around a core of gravity never coming out, still existing through tunneled out of the shell inward directional energy that gets past the energy barrier to make it beyond the fake event horizon. Muscles so non-existent dude, can't say its much more than time holographically continued on the idea of a past, could have been, hole that's not so empty & black.
One day they'll do their work & I'll like it, instead of mine without crediting me. Still, its more than others & the work that I talk about isn't easy so I'll give them that; But that's it.
