A collection of Hyur Highlander Vaards since I still like how he looks in FFXIV. I just hope one day I can give him eyebrows.

A collection of Hyur Highlander Vaards since I still like how he looks in FFXIV. I just hope one day I can give him eyebrows.
This is still one of my favorite things I’ve colored in the recent year. I just like drawing armor.
I’m greatly enjoying Island Sanctuary and can fully realize Vaard’s happy retirement owning some farmland and a stag farm to raise (aka my discount talbuks since they’re the closest thing I can find.)
After wanting this apron mog for ages, Vaard has become a proper coffee dad, the apartment has been dismantled, and a coffee shop is now in the works because I can.
I spent a whole evening tearing down my old apartment and doing a simple coffee shop. 100 slots is not nearly enough and had to stop here because I ran out of space, but it’s cozy for the meantime!
I’ve been playing a lot of different games here lately and slapping Vaard into each one when the character creation lets me. It’s fun sketching the iterations. Ark Survival Evolved FFXIV Rimworld (Ft. @pridemother-scribbles feral druid Almaeth, who’s been watching me stream Rimworld shenanigans. Once her Rimworld bean acquired venom fangs, she’s done little else but bite during sieges)
Vaard is properly housed now, no more apartments. My heart is still pounding.
I got excited for Legends: Arceus. I’ve had a team for Vaard for years, but it’s the first time I’ve actually drawn a few of then. I’ve been working on pushing my coloring style where I want it to go lately. Slowly but surely it’s getting there! I just love lines and cross hatching.
