“Tatsu! Where is my wig?!” Hideki was gonna be late at the rate things were going he was gonna be late~ His brother jogged over, missing wig in hand, and helped him get it on. Tatsuma’s hair was a fluffy mess and he was completely dressed for the big event, minus his own wig.
“I can’t believe you talked me into this...” He whined as the smaller of the pair as his wig was tugged into place as well. “Kiki, we look stupid...”
“It’s for a good cause asshole,” he sighed, “C’mon Tatsu~ you promised you would help me~” The older brother laughed and held up his hands in surrender, letting the younger one push him out the door now that they were ready to go. Mama and Aba snickered quietly to themselves in the kitchen, their Little Dragon really did have the biggest soft spot for their adopted son.
The door to the hospital room opened and the mother honestly seemed ready to cry when she saw them, turning to softly announce that they had visitor’s. The girl in the hospital bed blinked in complete shock and then started beaming, “Sailor Moon! Tuxedo Mask! No way~” Her dad helped her sit up and the twins came over to sit with her.
“Hi Gina, your Daddy saw us after we had defeated a nasty monster and told us our number one fan wasn’t feeling very well. So we decided to come visit and see if we could cheer you up! I hope you don’t mind the company~” Hideki chirped. Tatsu nodded and smiled brightly as the little girl stared at them in awe.
“Really? You came to see me?! But you guys must be really busy saving the world...” She whispered. Tatsu chuckled gently, reaching out to ruffle her hair.
“That’s right Princess, we’re here just for you. We do get busy sometimes but we always make an exception for extra special boys & girls who need us. So what would you like to do?” He asked, completely in character. They spent the all of the visiting hours answering questions and playing games with the recovering girl. Finally Gina’s dad stepped in and told her that they had to get going, offering to walk them out. They hugged her, sayig their good byes and exiting quietly to let her rest.
“Thanks again Kiki, I really owe you for this one...” The man sighed. The boy waved it off, not even remotely bothered.
“Mike your daughter had to get her appendix taken out, had a lung collapse because the doctor was an idiot, then she caught pneumonia, and she is still recovering. It is my duty as a cosplayer to put a smile on her face.” Hideki huffed, Tatsu nodding seriously behind him.
“Consider this a gift from us to you,” the taller added on. Mike just smiled and waved goodbye as they took their leave.
