Well they’ve made a real dog’s breakfast out of the creek mouth now. The beach is ridged and pockmarked with tracks, and the splendid escarpment that the sea carved out of the sand has been ‘tidied’ by a shovel to reduce it’s perfect 90 degree angle to a mere 75 degrees. For an attempt at sand sculpture, it’s certainly unusual, but abysmally lacking in style. Latest update: we were banned from access because the sea is having too much fun. So I just walked down from further up the beach and photographed their giant sandcastles.
