Getting used to rejections (any kind) eventually results in self doubts & hatred.
we start reflecting on it and even work towards improving results next to avoid rejections, let me talk about employment as of now.
We will learn new skills, groom better, invest our time registering on various portals and putting our personal data at risk on third party websites, just to make sure we dont get rejected next time. We built hope and do all pep talk that's needed..just to ace an 106th interview.
But the fact no one shares is "we f***ers are rejecting you because we are looking some one better and we have done so much replacements due to capitalism, hypocrisy and marketing that we dont even regret it anymore, deal it with because we rule the market".
(Yeah yeah! Judgements are free pass on this one too as you read)
It's such a competitive environment that we neglect the impact it creates. If number of applications rejected was a criteria believe me an organization will have good quality employees. Also if micro racism didnt exist things could have been easier for few underprivileged hardworking people.
Sometimes I wish I was a story teller to express personal views on how hypocrisy is lethal but no online courses are available for the same.
As time has changed from 'honesty being the best policy' to ' being the worst' tactic when you want to survive. I can literally created a PPT on this.
Welcome to the cooperate world of sugarcoated sanctimony
