More history of music notes! 🎼🎻 Today I did them on baroque concerto grosso, as you can tell from little drawings representing ripieno and concertino 😅 As you can also start to notice is that my notes are usually super monochromatic as I am not much of a colorful person 🤷🏻‍♀️ Have a good evening everyone! 💕

There are only 19 days left till my matura exam (finals in Poland) - 27 days till biology - so I’m working pretty hard. I am constantly finding out more things I still need to learn and practice which is a little bit upsetting but I guess it can only get better.

Hello everyone!

I have always wondered what other students have to read at school. Why this book not another? That’s why I decided to create this challenge for myself and anyone who wants to join.

In Poland students have to read both Polish and foreign books, the proportion is rather equal. For about 4-6 foreign books we read about 6 Polish books. It all depends on teacher though. How is it in your country?

So here’s how this challenge will work: I will list 4 Polish books below, that are in polish shool books cannon, encouraging you to read them. I checked carefully - all of them has english translations, unfortunetaly I don’t know if they were translated into other languages but I can always help you finding one.  If you decide to read any of this books, please let me know your opinion on it or post a picuture/review with hashtag #hsb challenge and I will check it out and probably reblog it!

Then, if you are from another country, please feel free to add books from your country to the reading list. I’ll try to read them and leave my review as well.

The Doll (Lalka) by Bolesław Prus,

Balladyna by Juliusz Słowacki,

Sir Thaddeus (Pan Tadeusz) by Adam Mickiewicz, translated by Marcel Weyland (if you need ISBN message me),

Fables for Robots (Bajki Robotów) by Stanisław Lem - it’s usually read in secondary school but I enjoyed it very much.

[03.05.2017] I decided to join @nkbstudies May study challenge! Today’s question is what are my goals for the month of May. For me May is the month of matura exams (the end of high school finals), so my goal is obviously to pass them. I also want to focus on not stressing too much and being kind to myself - I’m a perfectionist so it’s sometimes hard to forgive myself even the smallest mistakes. Another goal of mine is to focus on culture and catch up on books and movies I had no time to read/watch due to high school. If you have any good recommendations, please, message me. I also put the ‘I am very happy’ picture (it’s by David Shringley, I got the notebook in Flying Tiger), because I want to improve my ability to talk about my emotions. I don’t need to hold them inside, I need to remember there are people who will listen to me. And what are your goals for May?

[02.05.2017] Hello guys! 🌸 I wanted to share with you one of my favorite books of all time, ‘Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams’ by Sylvia Plath (polish version on the picture). Since very soon I will be done with all my finals I’m planning on reading more book - I maybe read just about 5 books during my 3 years of high school, which is such a shame. That’s why I’m asking you for some book recommendations, both in English and Polish, please, don’t let me down! I will read everything you recommend me and write my thoughts here afterwards. [06.05.2017] Day 6 of May Study Challenge:  How much of your stationery and study materials travel with you to class? How much is left at your study space?

I used to take every book I had for classes and lots of stationery, but this year I started having some back problems, so I switched heavy notebooks and binders for a lightweight folder with single sheets of paper ehich i take notes on.
