       “      y’know .  .  . i’m glad neither of us decided to ditch the whole road trip thing.    ” he mumbles , arms wrapped around her frame as they laid there. this was something he’d missed , the peace that washed over him whenever they were together. he’s happy when he’s with her , maybe a bit nervous too ; yet it’s always been like that. heart beats quickly ; hammering against his ribcage as mason held her close , digits moving up only to tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear. there’s that smile again , the grin that proved he really felt something for her ; he’s lovestruck. “  if it weren’t for this .  .  . i’m not sure how much longer this whole - not talking thing would’ve lasted.   ” he moves his hand now ; cupping the girl’s head only for his thumb to caress her cheek , gaze softening as he gazes at her. “   but .  .  . i’m pretty sure i would’ve lost my mind without you , riley -   ”

conrad sat with his back against the headboard. his laptop placed on top of his lap as he made his way through editing a video he was trying to put up by the time the evening came around. conrad and seraphina were spending time together, the two having some free time. every now and then conrad would stop tapping on his computer and lean over to gently poke the side of seraphina’s tummy. he wanted her to know that even though he was focused on editing, his mind was still on her. “you know you should do another video with me soon. everyone’s asking me why we haven’t done one in a while.” he poked her again, this time stopping completely to look over at her, waiting for a response.

Silence hung over the room, but Gwen’s ears were filled with white noise, earphones emitting the recordings from her latest outing. The tapes were uninteresting, as per usual, so she busied herself painting her girlfriend’s nails. The two sat across from each other on the couch, legs tangled, cold feet pressed together as if by some miracle that might warm them. Seraphina’s hand rested on her knee, and after each nail finished, she opted to press a feather light kiss against her knuckles. Sappy, on her part, but somehow she managed to make it feel natural.

Eyes widened as a voice interrupted the static in her ears, excitement falling over her features. “ Phi---  ” she started suddenly, almost dropping the bottle of polish in her hand. Pulling herself closer ( if that was even possible ), Gwen plucked one of her headphones from her ears, offering it in Seraphina’s direction. “ You hear what I hear? ”

       “Oh, hey. I was just making some hot chocolate,” Lydia said with a smile as she caught  sight of the other moving toward the kitchen. “First night here and all--did you want some? I’m Lydia by the way.”

    && there she is being her annoying self once again bothering the other girl with her randomness (  it wasn’t the first time she’d done it today  ) yet she couldn’t quite help it. she’d always been naturally curious about anything and everything and how distant the other was being wouldn’t quite pass as an exception. ❝ wow i mean it this is probably the second or third bag i’ve opened in an hour.  i can’t stop !! ❞ she laughed as she sat down next to her on the couch only to pop a small orange triangle into her mouth. moments later she held up the bag for her to take some if she wanted to. doritos were her favorite, it’s simply what she lived for. ❝ don’t tell me these are not good ?? because they are - ––––– if any chips out there could be defined as orgasmic, these are it. ❞

      eyes are stuck upon the girl’s features , lips slightly parted as he let his gaze flicker to the dead body once more. it’s .  .  . certainly a scene ; spmething he hadn’t expected to come across - yet there he is talking with her ; smirk clearly adorning the boy’s features as he took a step closer to her - it’s like fate brought him to this place ; having him meet someone like him. bumping into them slicing someone’s throat open was almost like a gift (   and what a gift   ) and that’s what makes him speak up now , a soft chuckle escaping mason as he gazes at her now. “    so . . . you wanna get creative with this ?? - dismembering him and all .  .  . carve something on his chest ; maybe -    ” , digits reach into his backpack now , hands gripping the pocket knife he usually carried with himself. “    i won’t mind helping you out .  .  . i find this quite .  .  . how would you call it - relaxing.    ”

griffin had just gotten back from one of his classes and even though he was exhausted from listening to his old professor go on and on about review and something else, he was way too excited to skype  his girlfriend. they had made plans earlier and since then it was all he could really think about. even though they had skyped plenty of times before he was always happy to see her face. he grabbed his phone and texted her asking if she was ready, and then proceeded to clean up around his desk while he had some time.
