Tom Doran as the human / ape hybrid child partially developed for Planet Of The Apes Revisited / Beneath The Planet Of The Apes. The hybrid was destined to become no more than an idea, though, as the studio recognised that the concept of humans and animals copulating would cost the movie its “G” rating.
Early Beneath scripts, which depict the humanzee living far in the future at the end of Beneath, name him as “Taylor”. Drew Gaska’s deeply disappointing novel Death Of The Planet Of The Apes names him as “Messias” and portrays him as a mutant-created figment of Taylor’s imagination.
