At least if anyone’s annoyed at another Lucina but summons her she’s great fodder. Swift Sparrow is always nice and her C looks great for support! I know if I summon her I’m gonna be torn between using and foddering, though that’s unlikely since I’ve spent all my orbs on trying (and failing) to get Olivia.

if she was colorless it’d be a no brainer to use her, but being blue complicates things because it limits her power vs greens.

it’ll ultimately come down to her stats and how she fits onto any given team, but as a unit her skills look extremely powerful. distant guard looks especially useful.

Coloooooor Me as a halfling bard, because my roomies and I were talking about what race and class we would all be if we were a D&D party. Others include: a dragonborn eldritch knight fighter, drow rogue, high elf paladin, wood elf cleric, dwarf wizard, and tiefling sorcerer. So actually a fairly balanced party, too bad it’ll never happen.

I’m starting to think I’m cursed to never pull Olivia’s alts. Not during PA, not on the Legendary banner, and I’ve pulled Ryoma, Alm, Mia, and just now a 3.00% Maribelle trying for this one. While I’m not super super salty about it, since I’ve never summoned Mia or Ryoma before and Maribelle is +atk/-hp, it’s getting disheartening. And I’m slowly running out of chain challenges to try for more orbs.

i think i’m at 160+ orbs spent on the banner and still no olivia. add the fact that i literally have no content left to get orbs from and i can confirm that its 100% disheartening. on the bright side you managed some good pity breakers.

i’m pretty much at the mercy of the upcoming orb giveaways. if the banner ends and i don’t get her its back to saving for me. hopefully she comes home soon for both of us.

Since I’m not too excited for any of the upcoming summer units, I shunted a few more orbs at the first summer banner and ended up with both Noire and Cordelia! I was thinking it would be nice to give infantry rush to my anti-meta Inigo, since he usually runs alongside Soleil and Laslow. It would mean I could give the heavy blade seal to someone else, and Laslow could get CD reduction in both phases (steady breath) but the positioning requirement is something I’ll have to keep track of. Thoughts?

infantry rush’s positioning requirement isn’t that strict. 2 spaces is a lot of wiggle room so i don’t think it’ll be too hard to keep track of. i’d definitely consider it, especially if you use him often enough.

There’s definitely some interesting skills in this banner! If only the rally/movement support-based skills were C instead of B, there’s already so much B-slot competition... Also, viability aside, you know someone is gonna give Soren those Nifl Frostflowers for the sole purpose of using him on a team with the three Ikes. For reasons.

having them as B skills instantly takes away from their viability, but i think even as C skills they’re a bit too situational for my liking.

as for sorens weapon, he can still inherit ninian’s fresh bouquet+ so there’s hope yet for ike/soren fans.

Out of curiosity, about how many feathers do you have hoarded? (If you feel like sharing) You said that your Swoleil is probably going to be your first +10 even though she’s only +3 at the moment. I ask because as a FTP, I’ve actually managed to recently complete my second 5* +10 (first Laslow, now Soren). I promoted all except maybe 3 Sorens myself, and have also 5*d a few units for fodder, so I feel like you must have quite the stockpile!

i had 100k before rolling on this banner, i’m down to 41k atm. 20k of which went towards giving SMeirika a bladetome, so thats well over 140k feathers invested in just bladetomes alone.

i would have made either laslow or selena my first 5* +10 ages ago since both are common favs, but this is the first time i actually invest that many resources into a single unit. usually all of my resources go into my emblem teams (3 horse, 2 flier, armor, and dragon is wip), or just making multiple units stronger. 

there’s also the fact that i’ve already 5*’d and merged every single soleil i’ve ever gotten so feathers actually aren’t an issue atm, i just need more soleils.

Have you made a build rec for vanilla Lyn yet? I tried looking but couldn’t find one. If not, do you think Escape Route would be a good B skill for her? Also trying to decide between L&D and Darting blow for A. L&D would be better but I’m not sure she’d survive a counter.

i have posted build recs for vanilla lyn which you can find here. escape route would be worth considering if you value warping shenanigans but overall she has better options.

Looks like I’m joining you on conceding defeat on getting Olivia. Since the initial 3 red pitybreaks + Maribelle, I’ve pulled a second Maribelle (not complaining, dazzling fodder for Priscilla or Nanna) and then a 5* Ares. He’s got garbage IVs, so it’s merge or fodder. That said, it seems a waste to fodder him at 5* when brazen atk/def is on him at 4*, and I don’t have any units who really need the skill right now, and I probably won’t need it anytime soon. Think I should just merge him?

sorry to hear that, at the very least she’s a non-limited unit so its not the end of the world. we gave it more than a fair shot.

as for ares, if he’s 5* then definitely merge him, he’s a solid unit. plus you’re not missing out on anything since he has the skill at 4*.
