I am a huge believer of cuddlers!Seblaine so they sleep with Sebastian as the big spoon with his arms wrapped around Blaine, his chest to Blaine’s back, tucking his head into the crook of Blaine’s neck. But sometimes, more times than he likes to admit, Sebastian likes waking up in Blaine’s arms with his warm body around him. He likes curling up into a small ball and feeling safe and protected and loved with Blaine’s body holding him close. Though, of course, Sebastian doesn’t tell anyone, not even Blaine. But Blaine knows and Sebastian knows he knows and that’s what he loves about him.
#music rec #kurt singing this to blaine #or about him#like maybe after they have a big fight#maybe blaine's moved to nyc and they're finally together #but they keep fighting#and kurt is frustrated #and one day they get in a huge fight #and he walks out#and he's upset #so he walks around nyc #and thinks about blaine#about how they've grown together #as friends #and lovers#and by the end of the song kurt is filled with this conviction of why he said yes to blaine#why he wants to marry him#and he finishes the song just as he opens the door to the loft#and sees blaine sulking on the couch #whoa long tags are long
Kurt and Blaine are in the middle of a heated sexting session when Kurt's number isn't the one that Blaine sends a picture to...
To Kurt (10:56PM):
I know we just got off the phone, but I miss you.
To Blaine (10:56PM):
:( I miss you, too, Blaine.
To Kurt (10:57PM):
Why does New York have to be so far away?
To Blaine (10:58PM):
Hey shh, none of that. You’ll visit soon, like we planned. And I’ll be here.
Blaine looks down at his phone, his lip caught between his teeth and the waxy taste of chapstick on his tongue. He knows that he was the one who had encouraged Kurt to pursue his dreams, even if that meant being away from Ohio for a whole year before Blaine could join him, but it’s still difficult sometimes, and with Kurt being gone for only a week it seems like it’s never going to change, like they’re going to be separated forever.
To Blaine (11:00PM):
And besides…being away from each other doesn’t mean that we can’t do…things.
To Blaine (11:01PM):
That is, if you’re interested?
Blaine sucks in a sharp breath as Kurt’s chat bubble appears. He stares at the blinking cursor, the shape of the letters on the virtual keyboard. It isn’t like he and Kurt haven’t sexted—because they have, and more times than Blaine thinks he would ever admit—but it’s more like this is the first time that Kurt won’t be a comfortable drive away in the same state. Blaine won’t be able to see him tomorrow morning, both of them blushing slightly when their eyes first meet, their smiles small and meant for each other and their secret that they share.
The stirring in his pajama pants is immediate, and Blaine swallows, wets his lips. His thumb hovers over his phone screen for a brief moment before he’s quickly typing back a message, shifting and squirming as his cock hardens and lengthens against his thigh.
To Kurt (11:03PM):
As if I could say no to you.
To Blaine (11:03PM):
You silver-tongued devil.
To Blaine (11:04PM):
Please tell me you’re hard
The lack of punctuation makes Blaine smile; he knows that by now Kurt’s probably touching himself, splayed gorgeously over the sheets with his legs spread wide, his back tipping up and his head digging back, his lips parted to let out breathy gusts of air. He’ll still be clothed, his palm broad over the rising shape of his dick.
Blaine closes his eyes, imagines Kurt under him, pale-skinned and long-limbed and rose-flushed and all Blaine’s. He hears the ghosts of Kurt’s moans, lilting and musical and deep. He sees the beautiful curve of Kurt’s body as he comes.
He settles deeper into the sheets, looks towards his shut door and lets his hand stray and fall to his lap. His fingers seek out the hard-hot curve of his cock over the silk of his pajamas, and he arches slightly, moans as he rubs over himself.
To Kurt (11:06PM):
So hard
To Kurt (11:06PM):
I’m imagining you
To Kurt (11:07PM):
Remembering you under me right before you left
To Blaine (11:07PM):
god, Blaine
To Blaine (11:07PM):
I want to make you feel like that
Underneath his hand Blaine’s cock gives a twitch; with shaky fingers he undoes the buttons of his shirt, lets it fall open to his sides and stay there. The silk swishes smoothly over his skin, warmed from his soaring body heat. The blush warms the apples of his cheeks, his neck and chest and ears. The swirled air of the ceiling fan does nothing to deter it.
To Kurt (11:09PM):
fuck
To Kurt (11:09PM):
What would you do to me?
To Blaine (11:10PM):
What /wouldn’t/ I do to you?
Blaine snorts, shakes his head and runs his hand down his chest, over his peaked nipples and the scratchy sparseness of chest hair.
His legs fall open just a little wider, and he gets up on his elbow, twists and reaches over to rummage in his nightstand. He figures that this is probably, judging by the rising urgency in their texts, not going to last long enough to allow him to leak a sufficient amount of pre-come, so eh grabs the lube, splays out across the bed again and shivers a little at the rush that shoots through him when his phone pings with another message.
To Blaine (11:11PM):
I mean the list of what I’d do to you is endless
To Kurt (11:11PM):
Kurt
To Kurt (11:11PM):
As hot as this is, you’re getting a little off track, honey.
To Blaine (11:12PM):
Right, sorry.
To Blaine (11:12PM):
What I meant to say is:
First I’d undress you really slow
To Blaine (11:12PM):
Like really slow
To Blaine (11:13PM):
And when you began to beg me for more I’d oblige
To Blaine (11:13PM):
Id’ lick over your nipples, maybe bite them gently because I know what that does to you
Blaine whimpers, high and desperate, and squeezes his eyes shut, letting his phone fall to the bed as his hand runs over his chest again, this time with purpose as he drags his palm, then the heel of his hand, over his nipples, imagining that it’s Kurt. He pinches them in turn, has to bite back his lewd moan at the sharp zigzagging rush of pleasure-pain that erupts quickly under his skin.
To Kurt (11:14PM):
fuck, kurt
To Kurt (11:14PM):
I need you so bad right now
To Blaine (11:14PM):
I’d push open your thighs
To Blaine (11:15PM):
Kiss up them
To Blaine (11:15PM):
Maybe leave marks to show that you’re mine
To Kurt (11:15PM):
oh fuck yours baby always yours
To Blaine (11:16PM):
Good boy
To Blaine (11:16PM):
Do you want me to fuck you? want me to finger open that tight little asshole for my cock?
Blaine groans and then claps his hand over his mouth. Kurt doesn’t talk like that often, even when they’re having sex, and whenever he does it’s like something inside of Blaine snaps, melts away. It means that he’s as desperately turned on as Blaine is right now, that he wants this just as badly. Blaine imagines the slick, slightly-chilled press of Kurt's fingers to his hole, the slow way he'd work them inside Blaine until Blaine was opening up easily, begging for more until there were two, then three, fingers inside of him, stretching him for the thick girth of Kurt's cock.
Blaine lifts his hips, hurriedly pushes down his pajama bottoms and underwear, kicking them down and off the bed as his cock falls with a slick slap against his heaving belly. He takes himself in hand, stroking quickly, the lube lying forgotten on the bed beside him as he one-handedly types back to Kurt, his breath a little heavy.
To Kurt (11:16PM):
oh god oh ogd hogod
To Kurt (11:17PM):
ys please yes
To Kurt (11:17PM):
I’m so fucking hard for you right now
His hand trembles as he switches to camera and raises his phone. the angle is a little off, and the flash white-washes some of him, but his cock in his fist is clearly visible, the easy, wide spread of his legs conveying silently his neediness. He’s already so close that he’s not sure how long it’s going to take.
His phone pings again while he’s still in the camera, and he doesn’t look as he goes to his texts, attaches the file with the text god baby miss your cock in me so much.
It sends, and less than two minutes later, as Blaine’s stroking steadily over his cock, twisting his wrist and thumbing over the head, Kurt responds. Blaine eagerly opens the message, his cock twitching in his grasp, and widens his eyes in horror.
To Blaine (11:19PM):
WHOA BABY BROTHER
To Blaine (11:19PM):
IMPRESSIVE BUT I DIDN’T NEED TO SEE THIS
To Blaine (11:19PM):
KURT’S A LUCKY GUY DON’T GET ME WRONG
Embarrassment burns hot through his body and Blaine’s immediately letting go of his cock, his semi-blurry, barely-decipherable picture in the preview taunting him. Above it is Cooper’s text that had intercepted Kurt’s, what are you getting mom for her b-day?
Blaine could die right now. He could bury himself in his backyard and not even be bothered by it. Because not only did he do the exact thing he had always sworn not to do when he and Kurt had begun this, but he did it to his brother.
He sexted his brother. Who even does that?
To Cooper (11:21PM):
Oh my god
To Cooper (11:21PM):
That wasn’t meant for you. that was meant for Kurt.
To Cooper (11:21PM):
I am so so so so so sorry, coop
To Blaine (11:22PM):
Yeah, I gathered that.
To Blaine (11:22PM):
But hey, no harm no foul, right?
To Blaine (11:23PM):
All that matters is that my baby bro is finally getting some!
To Cooper (11:24PM):
Oh my god cooper
To Cooper (11:24PM):
Shut up you are not helping
To Blaine (11:24PM):
Okay okay I’ll shut up and let you get back to what you were doing ;)
To Blaine (11:25PM):
Just text me later with what you’re getting mom for her b-day
To Blaine (11:25PM):
Oh, and Blainey? You should seriously do porn with that thing.
To Blaine (11:25PM):
I mean, like, *wow*
To Blaine (11:26PM):
And I mean it totally in a brotherly, non-incestuous way.
To Cooper (11:26PM):
GOODNIGHT, COOPER
Blaine quickly deletes the conversation, his cheeks burning red and his eyes stinging faintly with embarrassed tears. He’s fully flaccid against his thigh now, and he looks down sadly with a forlorn sigh, the heavy, building ache in his balls and at the base of his spine already gone.
The bed creaks as he gets up, crawls to the end and reaches down to grab his pants and underwear from the floor. He does up on a few of the buttons on the shirt still loosely draped over his torso. When he checks his messages again, he sees that he has three new ones from Kurt.
To Blaine (11:21PM):
Blaine?
To Blaine (11:23PM):
Don’t make me come alone, baby.
To Blaine (11:26PM):
Sweetie? You didn’t fall asleep again, did you?
To Kurt (11:28PM):
Worse.
To Kurt (11:28PM):
I took a picture for you and cooper texted me.
To Blaine (11:29PM):
Oh, Blaine…
To Blaine (11:30PM):
You didn’t…?
To Kurt (11:30PM):
Yup, I did.
To Kurt (11:31PM):
I dick-pic’d my brother.
To Blaine (11:31PM):
Oh, baby, I am so sorry.
To Kurt (11:32PM):
I want to die.
To Kurt (11:33PM):
He complimented me. and said I should do porn. and that you’re a lucky guy.
To Blaine (11:34PM):
Well I won’t deny that last part.
To Blaine (11:34PM):
But you’re all mine, Blaine Anderson. Don’t you even think about doing porn. I don’t like sharing.
To Blaine (11:46PM):
Do you want me to call you to distract you?
To Kurt (11:47PM):
Please do. before I puke everywhere or figure out the best way to avoid Cooper for the next fifteen to twenty years.
a short, nearly platonic kurt/sebastian/kind of blaine thing that takes place immediately after the proposal.
"Congratulations, Kurt."
Kurt tears his gaze away from Blaine, who's accepting handshakes from Burt and Mr. Schuester at the moment. He's pretty sure his old teacher is in tears, but he turns to see Sebastian Smythe -- sans CW hair -- standing next to him.
"Thank you," Kurt says, smiling but wary. Sebastian may not have had anything to do with all of their most recent problems, but he can't help it. Old wounds never heal, or something like that.
"He's really something," Sebastian continues, glancing away from Kurt to look at Blaine, but just for a moment. Kurt can't contain his curiosity any longer.
"So how did he get you to do this, anyway?"
Sebastian scoffs. "Is it really so hard to believe that I'd do a favor for him? I did almost blind him, even if that was an accident."
"You were trying to hit me with that slushie," Kurt reminds him, and he can't quite keep the bite out of his tone. "So why would you do something that makes me happy and Blaine completely unavailable?"
Shrugging, Sebastian's usual smirk drops into a weirdly genuine frown. "I know you've been busy skipping around the big city with your hag and Miss Diabla, but I've changed a little bit. I haven't even insulted your wildly flamboyant suit."
"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that part," Kurt says, "and say that I'm glad you've supposedly changed. But I still don't get it."
"What you don't get is that getting into Blaine's pants isn't my goal anymore. While I wouldn't say no if he offered--" Kurt rolls his eyes, but somehow he's not as irritated as he expected to be. "--I'm more concerned with being a friend."
"Never thought I'd hear you say that," Kurt mumbles. Sebastian shakes his head, amused.
"I don't blame him for being into you, though. You've, ah, filled out a bit since you moved on to bigger and better worlds." Kurt can feel his ears reddening, but he refuses to be embarrassed. "And, I'll admit, that speech was the most sickeningly sweet thing I've ever heard. He really loves you."
"He does." Kurt grins; it's all so new but familiar at the same time, the knowledge that Blaine loves him and the knowledge that Blaine wants to be his forever.
"You know, if you two ever want to experiment with an extra participant in the bedroom, I would--"
"What are you guys talking about?"
Sebastian stops and Kurt spots Blaine walking up to them, the bright grin on his face from earlier just as wide and warm now. He's taken off the jacket, but the bow tie is crooked; Kurt, on a whim, reaches out to fix it.
"You, of course," Kurt answers sweetly. "I couldn't believe that you dragged Timon into serenading me with you and the rest of liberal Ohio."
"And..."
"Don't worry, Romeo, I'm not about to chew out your fiancé for having full rights to your ass."
"Oh." Blaine looks unsure, but then he brightens. "My fiancé."
"He's hopeless," Sebastian says with a dramatic sigh in Kurt's direction. He looks Kurt in the eyes, then, and it's the first time Kurt has noticed the color of them -- strikingly green. "Take care of him, alright? If something happens, I have no problem giving him my unique brand of comfort, but I'd rather it didn't come to that in the first place. Given your track record and shit."
"You can save your 'comfort' for the poor souls at Scandals or wherever you spend all your time these days," Kurt says with complete confidence. "Blaine won't be needing it."
"Good." Sebastian surprises him with a hug; it's not completely warm, it's a little too much of a squeeze and Kurt's not exactly used to hugging people that are taller than him -- but it's something real. "That threesome offer is still on the table, by the way."
Kurt laughs, pulling out of the hug and giving Sebastian a little nod. He wouldn't say they're friends, but they can't be enemies anymore. Not now that Kurt's positive that the guy does care about Blaine and not just his (rather perfect) ass. "If in eight years we're looking to spice things up, we'll be sure to give you a call."
Summary: Sometimes Kurt has a hard time just saying how he feels about his boyfriend.
Rating: PG-13? Not really any sexy times happening sorry.
Words: 2.5k
A/N: Just a little fic for Steph because she wrote me a thing for my birthday so I'm writing her a thing because I love her. The song Kurt sings in this is This Heart by Mary Lambert and the title is taken from that. Hope you enjoy :)
It being days after finals week at NYADA meant most of the classrooms were no longer in use. Students were either partying or going on auditions or just so sick of seeing the interior of the school that they spent as little time as possible in the buildings. Kurt decides very early on to use this to his advantage.
It’s the end of his junior year at NYADA and he easily finds an unoccupied classroom with an unlocked piano. He smiles to himself as he shoots a quick text to his boyfriend with the classroom number and waits by the door, watching as the few students still around make their way around the school, some talking with friends as they go, others rushing to whatever alone, fierce determination on most of their faces.
Leaning against the wall beside the open classroom, Kurt lets his head fall back as his thinks back to his first year at NYADA. He was terrified and lonely and went through so much that year; he honestly doesn’t know how he dealt with it all. But now he’s older, smarter, more mature, and he knows how to handle himself. He know how to deal with everything life throws at him. Or at least I pretend to, Kurt muses as he hears familiar footsteps walk over to him. He stands straight to see Sebastian walking up to him, a wide smile on his face and a sparkle in his beautiful green eyes.
“Well, if it isn’t my favorite person in the world,” Sebastian says, stopping in front of Kurt to press a soft kiss on his lips and slipping his arms around his waist. “I missed you.”
“You saw me an hour ago,” Kurt says.
“And I spent that entire hour missing you,” Sebastian says, pressing Kurt against the wall as he kisses down his pale neck.
“Sebastian,” Kurt moans and his boyfriend smirks before biting down lightly on the spot on Kurt’s neck inches above his defined collarbone. Kurt reddens as Sebastian’s tongue flicks against the spot before his nibbles softly against it, forcing out a rather pornographic moan from Kurt.
Sebastian chuckles against Kurt’s flushed skin. “I love it when you say my name like that,” he murmurs, before going back to kissing along Kurt’s skin.
“I did not text you to come here just so we can have sex in the hallway,” Kurt says, biting back another moan. Sebastian raises his head to look Kurt in the eyes.
“Where will we be having sex then?” he asks.
Kurt scoffs as he pushes Sebastian away. “We will not be having sex.” He pauses, thinking. “At least, not now,” he says and Sebastian grins. Kurt grabs his hand to lead him into the classroom. He motions for Sebastian to sit on one of the dark brown stools next to the piano as he closes the door and flicks on the light of the classroom. Instantly the room is illuminated. The small room full of instruments and chairs off to the side with a large white dry erase board reminds him of his glee club’s choir room when he was in high school. It feels right, Kurt thinks, grinning to himself as he walks over to Sebastian. Like home.
“Why are you so smiley?” Sebastian asks, eyes focused on Kurt as he walks.
“Because I can,” Kurt responds with a wider smile. He briefly considers sitting down on one of the stools next to Sebastian but at the last moment, he changes his mind and sits down on Sebastian’s lap. Sebastian grins up at him, wrapping his arms around Kurt’s waist as Kurt wraps his arms around his shoulders and kissing him on the lips.
“I thought you said we’re not going to have sex now,” Sebastian says.
“We’re not having sex; we’re just kissing,” Kurt mumbles, kissing Sebastian again.
“We’re in an empty classroom with the door closed and we’re making out next to the piano. The amount of gay porn I’ve seen that have started just like this…” Sebastian trails off, smirking up at him and sliding his hand up Kurt’s thigh.
Kurt rolls his eyes, sliding off Sebastian and getting to his feet, which is met by protest from Sebastian. “I told you to come here for a reason, Sebastian,” he says, crossing his arms.
“And what’s that reason?” Sebastian asks.
“I wanted to sing you a song,” Kurt says, gesturing to the piano. This peaks Sebastian’s interest and he grins at his boyfriend, setting his hands down on his lap and looking up at Kurt.
“Is that so?” he asks with a raised eyebrow. Kurt nods, debating whether or not he should just start. It’s nerve-racking; not singing, god knows Kurt loves singing more than almost everything, but singing for someone. Putting all his emotions out there to music and hoping he doesn’t look like a fool. “Well, go ahead.”
“Okay,” Kurt says, walking to the piano and letting out a breath before sitting down. He puts his fingers against the cool keys, but turns before he can play anything. “Okay, so...I, uh,” he starts. He swallows hard, taking a second to let the words form in his head. He doesn’t want to mess this up with dumb words bumbling out of his mouth to make him look like an idiot.
“Kurt?” Kurt looks up to where Sebastian is looking at him expectantly.
He lets out another breath and he looks straight into Sebastian’s eyes as he continues: “I’m not really the kind to sit at a piano and serenade someone.” He looks down at his feet, thinking about the last person to serenade him. Not Sebastian, but his ex-boyfriend. He also thinks about what came out of that relationship.
He and Sebastian haven’t been dating for long, just this year. Kurt had attempted to stay with his high school boyfriend for as long as he could until the middle of his freshman year when he realized he just couldn’t take it anymore. He knew he still had insecurities that he had to deal with and there were just too many holes and unresolved issues within that relationship that were never talked about that Kurt just couldn’t ignore. He was the one who broke it off, saying he felt like he needed to concentrate on his career instead of just his relationship. It wasn’t exactly a lie, but at the same time not entirely the truth. But Kurt knew he had to break it off. He needed better; he deserved better.
Ever since Sebastian transferred to NYADA, they had reluctantly become friends after being cast in the same school play and associating with the same group of people. Over time, neither of them had noticed when their friendship had become a lot less reluctant, until one night they found themselves in Sebastian’s dorm room drunk, kissing furiously as they pulled their clothes off. A little while later, they started dating casually until Kurt had taken the plunge and tentatively asked if Sebastian wanted to be exclusive with him. Sebastian had just grinned at him and said of course before kissing him. It had taken a while, but Kurt was happy and so content with his life. He knew Sebastian was a big part of the reason why and he wanted to show him how he felt. “Look, I,” Kurt starts. “I just want you...to know...how I feel...about you.” He looks up at Sebastian.
Sebastian got up, bring his chair closer to the piano bench and gives Kurt a confused smile. “But I already know how you feel about me, babe,” he says.
“I know.” He lets out a breath, gnawing at his bottom lip nervously. “I’m not used to letting all my walls down, but with you...I’m...I don’t feel like I have to and--Sebastian, I’ve...I’ve been hurt before and sometimes it’s hard to let it all out there.”
“I’m not Blaine,” Sebastian says, taking Kurt’s hands into his own and gives them a light squeeze. “I swear to you I would never cheat on you or do anything to break your heart.”
“I thought he wouldn’t either,” Kurt says quietly. He shakes his head, trying to clear those negative thoughts and adds: “But this isn’t about that. And this isn’t about Blaine. This is about us and what I think we are. Sometimes I’m confused about how I feel about you with our history and everything.” Sebastian feels a pang of guilt at Kurt’s words, remembering how he treated him when he was in high school. He was younger, and dumber, but that doesn’t make him feel less guilty about the person he used to be. “But other times,” Kurt continues with a small smile. “Most of the time? It’s...so clear. I look at you and I just can’t imagine being with anyone else.”
“I feel the same,” Sebastian says, not even trying to stop the wide grin that forms on his face.
“Good,” Kurt replies. “Let me, um, just sing you the song?” Sebastian nods and Kurt turns to face the keys, hoping his nerves don’t stop him from remembering the arrangement. He’s not the best piano player, years at NYADA constantly reminded him of that with the sheer amount of piano prodigies that roamed the halls on a daily basis. But at the same time, he’s not terrible. I can do this, he tells himself, I can. He feels Sebastian give him an encouraging squeeze on the forearm and he smiles gratefully. He presses his fingers against the smooth keys as he let clears his throat.
He plays the first few keys as he lets the music fill him up and flow throughout his body. His eyes slip closed as he sings: “This heart is...tired and old. This heart is charcoal and cold. This heart throws the white flag where it gets ha-ard and numb.” He opens his eyes, looking down at the black and white keys as his fingers move over them.
“I give up, I give in. To the whole of your skin.. I give up, I give in. When you let go up again,” Kurt sings softly. He feels the heat from Sebastian’s body beside him and it causes goosebumps to ripple throughout his skin. He shudders slightly and his chest warms as he continues. “I give up, I give in...am I doing this again?” The words flow out like a question more than just part of a song. He asks himself that question often; is he really doing this again? Willing to throw caution to the wind and fall in love again? To take a chance on someone who could possibly rip his heart into pieces and leave him as the broken, insecure wreck afraid of love and being loved while desperately craving it he used to be? “I give up.” Kurt gives up worrying and stressing and crying and hurting. He gives in to everything he feels with Sebastian. He pauses, still playing the piano, when he feel Sebastian’s hand rubbing his back. “We cannot go back. We cannot go back.” He sings to himself. To his heart, his soul, his mind. He sings it to everything he and Sebastian are and share and believe and feel. He sings it to sixteen year old him who was crushing on the straight boy he would never be with. He sings it to nineteen year old him who thought true love meant never having to talk about your problems. “We cannot go back.” He sings it to himself right now who keeps dwelling on his mistakes on the past which make him terrified to think about his future.
“This heart’s been sleeping for months. This heart can’t wait to see you,” he sings, turning his head to smile at Sebastian whose face lights up and he leans forward to press a soft kiss on Kurt’s nose, moving his hand to Kurt’s lap. “This heart doesn’t want to convince you that...this heart will not collapse.” Kurt turns his attention back to the piano keys. “No, this heart. No, this heart.”
“What are you doing in these chambers,” Kurt sings louder, letting the emotions fill him up completely and boil over, causing tears to well up in his heart. Letting himself to love and be loved is the scariest thing and no matter how hard he pretends he’s brave and strong, sometimes, inside, he’s still the same terrified little boy he was when he was sixteen. “And why are you sleeping in my ventricles? What are you doing in these chambers...and why are you sleeping in my ventricles?”
Sebastian watches Kurt intently and not missing as a single tear slides down his cheek and falls from his chin onto the piano keys. He slips an arm around Kurt’s waist, a bit awkwardly with where he’s sitting on the stool next to the thick black piano bench. He doesn’t say anything as he presses a kiss on Kurt’s shoulder and watches his fingers moves against the keys as Kurt continues to softly: “I give up, I give in. To the whole of your skin. I give up, I give in. Am I doing this again?” Sebastian gives Kurt’s middle a light squeeze. He knows how Kurt feels because he's been there: terrified to be vulnerable and let his guard down. He's been absolutely scared to let anyone in because that's the first step to getting hurt. But with Kurt, no matter how many times his mind tells him to be careful, his heart just tells him to go for it. He doesn't want to be careful. He wants to be reckless and young and absolutely, ridiculously, stupidly in love.
“And I give up, I give in,” Kurt sings, his voice barely above a whisper. “We cannot go back. We cannot go back. We cannot go back. We cannot go…” Sebastian moves back from Kurt, letting him play the last few keys of the song as the music washes over him. He doesn’t realize when Kurt stops playing, his mind on the words he just heard, until he notices Kurt turned toward him, his right hand on his opposite forearm and his eyes downcast. “So, uh,” Kurt says. “Did you like it?” He meets Sebastian’s eyes. “I had a hard time picking out the song but I heard this and it just felt right and I couldn't stop thinking about it and--” he babbles, gesturing a bit wildly. Sebastian chuckles to himself, overwhelmed with gratitude and absolute adoration for the man in front of him.
“I loved it,” he says, as if any other reaction was completely unfathomable.
“Really?”
“Really.”
Kurt bites down on his lip, grinning, as he looks down to the ground again, feeling his face warm up. He then tilts his head to look up at Sebastian. "No snarky remark about how lame and sappy and gross I am for this?"
Sebastian laughs out loud and takes Kurt’s hands into his own. “Absolutely not,” he says with a wide smile before leaning forward and kissing Kurt deeply. Kurt’s heart swoops in his chest as he closes his eyes and a shiver runs through him. After a moment, Sebastian pulls back a little, his lips hovering inches from Kurt’s. “Well, maybe later.”
Kurt scowls at him and playfully slaps him on the arm before closing the tiny gap between them and kissing his boyfriend again.
