Step Out - Kenichiro Nishihara
Number 5 - Kenichiro Nishihara
Album - Humming Jazz
Track Title - Step Firmly Slowly
Kenichiro Nishihara is the first producer I discovered after being influenced into the Jazzhop scene and boy what a discovery it was. There are plenty of tracks out there for me to choose from, but I chose Step Firmly Slowly as it remains my go to track when I just need to listen to some lovely tunes and relax. Kenichiro Nishihara has produced beats for many great artists out there, including Substantial, Pismo, Alison Crockett, and Greg Green. Do a quick search on youtube and if you like what you hear, buy his albums. Really excellent, uplifting stuff.

Nujabes'i seviyor iseniz Nishihara'yı da denemenizi tavsiye ederim :3
Gün pek kayda değer değildi sanıyorum; tamamlan(a)mayan sorumluluklar dışında. Sadece ceketimin ceplerindeki zamanın, dışarıya nazaran daha farklı ilerlediğini fark ettim. Keşke sığabilsem içlerine.
We are.

SCRATCHTHEBLOCK PRESENTS: STAY MELLOW
Hey folks, how are you? Today i’d like to post a wonderful selection of smooth and mellow tracks!
J Dee’s young brother, Illa J in 2008 released an album called : Yancey Boys a wonderful work where Illa spits his verses on J Dilla beatz! Sounds Like Love is the single that open this playlist! For this track J Dee used a sample of 1976 single See you Later by Flip Nunez
The 2nd track is a single extract from India Arie‘s best album and Grammy nominated, Acoustic Soul! The track is , Simple, but i choose the remix version by talented DJ/Producer, J Finesse. It’s included in his J-Finesse Presents…Soulful Resuscitation V.2.1 ! The remix consists on a clever mash up of neo-soul and hip hop with Talib Kweli’s verses of his Hot Thing.
For the 3rd jam i choose the singer, songwriter and producer J-Soul featuring The Floacist and Julie Dexter with Closer from the album Black Sinatra released in 2011 under the label Blackout Studios. It’s a sexy romantic ballad that surely will give you goosebump!
I’ve just introduced you, Jazz Liberatorz with our playlist called: A Touch Of Jazzy, and i thought they produced a wonderful track appropriate for this smooth selection. it’s , U Do with Miss “Floating” Stacy Epps. The particular mixture of neo-soul and jazz gives to this track a catchy and harmonious essence!
As i use to do, i included in this selection an unknown artist, from Australia, named Jordan Rakei that realized a very interesting and relaxing song , Selfish! Jordan blends neo-soul and reggae rhythm
Kaleem Taylor is a neo-soul british artist that we follow since we listened to for the first time his sumptuous song, True Color. Our team believe in his talent and so for our playlist i choose just True Color included in the Alone EP
Probably many of you don’t know Kenichiro Nishihara a composer, arranger and producer from Tokyo, but i think he deserves your attention and respect for what he made with is album Humming Jazz a jazzy-hop work with incredible piano skills and chill grooves! If you are lil bit wary maybe is the case to listen to this jam: Consider my love. I will wait for your impressions!
Anotha familiar artist, Mar and his Deep Shit, will entertain you with his unbelievable talent and his silky voice. The track is included in the album The Gin Diaries by Suff Daddy a german producer that we really appreciate!
Do You remember Riri collabo for her single, Stay? Oh yes, Mikky Ekko is anotha our selection for Stay Mellow playlist. We focus our attention on the remix version of his single Pull Me Down! For this remix we got in da house, The Internet! Who are them ? They are an experimental duo producer composed by Syd Tha Kyd (lead vocalist) and Matt Martians also members of Tylor The Creator and Frank Ocean’s crew Odd Future! Taste the smooth and seductive beat!
The last track of Stay Mellow playlist is Give It Time by The Internet here as a performers! This track is food for your soul, a sensual and ethereal beat will evoke a voluptuous perspective! Let the beat seduces your soul!
