Like speed, Soda had made his way around town to: Take Steve home to get changed, Take Steve to school, and then race his way back to the DX because he forgot his notepad.

He grabbed up this note in the meantime, and nearly dropped it with how quickly he reacted and jumped around for his pen.

You gotta trust my process! I start out today being terrified because I show up to work findin' my buddy bloody and red in the face, now I'm stressing over the fact he's bloody AND it's his birthday!!!

Soda takes his notepad out and starts scribbling things down, going back and forth from replying and writing down his list.

I've got a couple'a things planned. I'll get Two to snag some alcohol, Darry'll have dinner ready, Ponyboy will be (very upset but still willing) to help me prep the car... it's a work in progress! I'll get it figured out!
