I’ve now been online long enough to witness those kitschy Humon comics passed around again in earnest by people who don’t seem to have seen them before

Two people of indeterminate nature (gender, sex, religion, etc.) are walking and one says to the other "Sometimes I feel like such a waste of space…"

and the other replies, while looking at the first, "Don't say that There's a LOT of space."

And goes on to say, "The planet doesn't even have enough people to fill the empty spot you'd leave behind if you disappeared."

Below this statement we zoom out to see them walking through a shallow valley with two pine trees on the northern inward slope and another two almost mirroring them on the southern slope of the valley. The sun is shining only partly covered by clouds in the distance.

The second then person adds, "You're not taking up anyone else's place."

this is a mundane question: hasn't dobson met humon (of scandanavia and the world fame) irl, partially because they were both under the same publisher for a while? i could have sworn there was an old syac doodle recounting the Fresh Epics gang watching eurovision together but the syac site's broke forever and i can't find the image anywhere

I’m pretty sure he had one irl interaction with Human, yeah. Specifically the incident you’re referring to. Aside from that, some past minor interactions online, and he tweeted at her a few times as the years past, though I’m not sure if she ever really responded much if at all.

And I did find the comic you were looking for. Both versions, actually. And a bonus.

Jacob and Nini by Humon. Nini is a Kappa from Japanese Folklore. Humon's account is no longer active but you google more art of Nini. A lot of it is not SFW so bare that in mind lol

Edit- found their tumblr! @thehmn a lot of their old art is not on there but they have a new vampire series that's really interesting!
