"Do you ever think we should just stop doing this?" The former conqueror stared forward at the young man with the hair covering his face completely, and at the small pile of food before him. He was the unofficial taster for Walhart's meals - which were by no means the best, yet not the worst either. Still, the young man was perpetually making faces at each dish he tasted.
...Perhaps it was because they were all vegetarian dishes?
Knoll and Lowen
Knoll stared up at the clouds as the wind blew gently. He had conducted another experiment on the Outrealm and had wound up in yet another strange land. He closed his eyes for a moment, not noticing anything around him.
He opened his eyes slowly, though he continued to look up. He didn't see the horse behind him, but he certainly knew it was there when it bumped him and knocked him over. Luckily there had been no mud. "Ow...." He muttered, standing carefully. He stared at the horse for a moment before spotting the person leading it. "Um...excuse me..."
