What are your TAZ headcanons? I just got caught up and I am Obsessed.
I mean lots. Here’s one:
Angus McDonald’s parents are either dead or gone due to Circumstances. He was raised by his grandfather.
A few years ago his grandfather fell ill and sent Angus to live with another relative, possibly an aunt or uncle. That did not work out, they were not fit to raise a child. Not abusive, but irresponsible and negligent.
By that point, he had already begun using his detective skills to help various organizations. The next time he was offered a reward for bringing in some ne’er do well, he took the money and bought a train ticket. He found a place to live and has been taking care of himself since.
Due to his work catching criminals for local authorities, he’s never had to worry about feeding himself, but he also hasn’t had anyone to take care of him for a long time. When he met the THB on the Rockport express he’d been living on his own for a little over a year.
