I personally find it kind of hard to believe that Elise and Hunson were ever a couple, it doesn't make any sense to me, I just can't see these two in love.

So, what if Marceline wasn't always a demon? What if Elise got pregnant from a regular human, but the guy left or died or something, and Elise's pregnancy was a risky one, or Marceline was born as a human but got really sick, so Elise found out about Hunson and made a pact with him to save Marcy and he did it with the condition that she would become his successor and that's how he became her father?

That would be one way to explain why she got so scared when she saw Marceline using her powers.

Also, Marceline was raised in a trailer appearently in the middle of nowhere, and when they show the pictures of her and her mom at the beach there seemed to be no one around either, so I guess it's not far fetched to say that Elise kept Marceline somewhat hidden from people (probably for their own safety).

A day in the Treehouse family home:

Hunson Treehouse (aka dad) is looking after babies Neddy (in pink) and Billy (in blue). Billy would usually be at nursery with his sister Cosmo but woke up feeling under the weather so is taking the day off!

Billy's sister Neddy is autistic and follows a different nursery schedule, she goes in twice a week and gets one on one classes with Bonnie Thyme (the head teacher). She likes to parallel play with some of the other children at the nursery during playtime. Neddy will always be found her Llama (named crafty) and her push cart (named car).

Their mum, Elise Treehouse, teaches music at their nursery so is nearby if her children need any support.

Hunson Treehouse also teaches English at the nursery (as well as to the primary and secondary school children).

I'm watching the episode Marcy and Hunson rn and when I tell you the literal SECOND I saw Marcy's homemade apocalypse shack, where she had those drawings of herself and Simon on the walls I IMMEDIATELY paused and burst into fucking tears on the spot. They deserved to be happy
