Timeline: Pre-Infinity War

After a deal is made with SHIELD and Ross, Steve is allowed to come back to America under the circumstances that he can’t be Captain America anymore. He would be just like anyone else. Knowing Steve, he just can’t sit back and do nothing so he tries to find a way to stay in the battlefield. He landed up being in the wrong place at the wrong time, nearly being attacked by a vampire and saved by a ‘hunter’. Since that day he has done as much research he can and now travels around the US on his motorcycle hunting the supernatural. Of course he has to keep a low profile about it or else he’ll lose his right to live in America.

7. Our muses fall asleep together in a seemingly platonic way, but wake up cuddled close and enjoy this more than expected.

It had been one of those rare quiet days between hunts. She had been enjoying not having to make a harder decision than chose between pizza and Chinese takeout when he had shown up out of nowhere and scared the crap out of her.

While she started cleaning up the spilled food that had jumped out of her startled hand, she listened carefully as he explained why he had popped in. Apparently some wackjob was doing a spectacular job of convincing people that he saw a demon and was trying to recruit other people to help hunt it down. After telling him she would keep an ear out, she had somehow convinced him to stay and help her catch up on some of her shows with her. She had been pathetically behind on shameless and knew it would he hilarious to see his reaction to the show.

After about a million pauses and explanations as to what was happening she found herself nodding off, trying to keep her eyes open for the last episode. She must have failed miserably because she woke up several hours later, sprawled on top of a very much awake angel. The only things her brain seemed to register was his sleep mussed hair, the weight of his hand on her lower back and the warm chest beneath her fingertips.

She blushed, “Um... hi.” She stuttered, finding herself unable to look away from his incredible blue eyes.
