Jaune watches as a 5-year-old Hunter, dressed in a mix of leather armor and a old tunic, is looked over by the others.

Yang, watching the others interact with the kid: "...So, you said that you just came across him in the forest?"

Jaune: "Pretty much, yeah. Seems like he was sent my way."

Yang: "Well, I have to admit that he definitely looks like your kid."

Ren: "I would have to agree. If you didn't tell us, I would assume that you simply brought a younger cousin."

As they watched the others interact with the child, Yang turned to Jaune.

Yang: "Say, what did the Grim Lord look like again?"

Jaune: "Uh, head taller than me. Wicked armor, with a cloak made from blood. General 'Demon King' kind of look. Why do you ask?"

Yang: "...No reason."

*Kishar stands outside Utur's house with @osha-cafeteria-worker, and pauses for a moment, before awkwardly trying to call out to @stardust-requiem, more via emotions and vibes than sound, though they do chirp loudly. Yelling out Gary's name just feels like it would be... a little embarrassing?*

*There's some odd tracks on the grounds... seems like someone, or something was there, but isn't now. They don't seem to have stayed for too long, as if they were... looking for something. Or at something.

The tracks... seem very normal. Too normal, almost, in a way.*

Jaune: "That is the gist of it, yeah."

Janine: "This is the same Hunter who occasionally just eats rocks and fought an entire gang because he was bored."

Jaune: "Still impressive that he won that."

Janine: "And he's now going to be teaching teenagers."

Jaune: "Yep."

Janine: "... I'm concerned."

Jaune: "For him or the students?"

CRASH!

Hunter, muffled by the wall: "Dad! I broke another sandbag."

Janine, remembering that was the 20th one: "..."

Jaune, remembering that the sandbag was custom made: "...He probably won't hurt them too bad."

Janine: "We can only hope."

As Jaune relaxed in silence, he felt something tap his shoulder. Turning his gaze away from the book, he saw Hunter standing near him. He was covered in dried blood, yet seemed to be perfectly fine.

Jaune: "Uh, hey, Hunter. What's going on, lil' buddy?"

Without so much as a word being said (he should do something about that), Hunter dropped a small bag next to him before walking out of the room.

Jaune: "Uhhhh...thanks?" 'What's even in here anyways?'

Setting his book aside, he grabbed the bag before unwrapping it. However, once he opened it, his eyes widened in shock.

Heads of various small animals sat in the bag, from Sandworms to Stonewolves. Each one showed signs of conflict as scars littered their heads.

Jaune: "...Oh."
