follow up to this from last year
Guys, guess what
My type is still emotional pain
Did Flapjack ever have a reason as to why he didn't tell Hunter who Caleb was??
Not that I know of. Nothing was ever explained as to why he didn't say anything, especially after watching Hunter struggle to figure out who he was. It's heartbreaking that Hunter had someone who knew something but that someone wasn't willing to spill the beans. The only ones who could even talk to Flapjack were Hunter and the Bat Queen.
It drives me up a wall that Hunter was tormented this way. He didn't get closure on anything he needed to know, had to suck it up and move on. He didn't get any answers from Flapjack, no answers from Belos, no answers from the human realm. He just got fucked over royally and ended up being Caleb 2.0 when he should have been his own person. At least if he had a final confrontation with Belos, he would have had SOME idea of what was going on since Flapjack kept quiet. I would have imagined that Belos would have ranted and made harsh comments about Caleb in front of him/toward him.
I have a type. Emotional pain.
One thing I know is that it gets darker and darker with every characters. Ikor (the turquoise one) was from a cringe literal kids show I watched as a kid, but the recent ones- Lorien Legacies and Hazbin Hotel... do I need to explain.
SHHHH... I'm making more connections:
Teenage born into the villain's side.
Clearly abusive father-figure.
Still didn't safe after said parent's death.
Pretty intelligent.
Child soldier
Can fly a ship.
Betrayed their cause after going into someone's memories.
Almost died to save 'found family'.
Saved by their pets' sacrifice.
Gained powers from a dead person.
Everyone thinks they can talk to ghosts.
Sass masters.
sweet cheese
We need one of the Palismen who knew Flapjack to give Hunter the closure he deserved. He has two of them in the group already. Even Honktavious could do it. There's no way Flapjack didn't talk about what happened to his previous owners to the other Palismen like they wouldn't have talked about their own experiences.
Maybe even have the Bat Queen pay Hunter a visit because he's making Palismen and tell him what Flapjack knew, maybe give a reason as to why the bird said nothing. Not sure what that reasoning was, but it would be something at least. There's really no need to keep it a secret.
