Blessed is He

Even when the hard times come  When I feel like the darkness has won  I will still praise You the same  Lord, blessed be Your name When all my fears and failures  Creep behind me again  I will never blame You  I’ll end each prayer in Amens  You will always be my friend I live for Your name and only Yours  I serve for Christ each day  Lord tell me what You need from me  and I will never go astray Even when the darkness comes  When my sin becomes too much  I know You will always love me  My inner heart is what You see  Your eternal love will set me free

Team Prayer

On NET, as a team we will have team prayer every day. It's between 45-60 minutes long, and it's 90% praise and worship. 

This team prayer is super powerful, and often times, it's when I feel closest to God. It's said that singing is praying twice or three times. 

Isn't that beautiful?

So recently during team prayer, I have been getting some really powerful messages whether it's for myself, for someone else, or for the whole team.

Today I received a message for myself and it was this:

"Hunter, I love you. You are my daughter, and I am your God."

I was so surprised by this because it was so clear and evident that God wanted me to know that He loved me. I've been feeling really ashamed about things lately, and I've been feeling a strong need to go to confession. So when I received this message today, i began to cry because even though I sin again and again, God still loves me and He so badly wants and needs me to recognize that. 

He never gives up on me, and that gives me the strength to push through.

My Sanctuary

The waterfall is where I like to be touching the water, crouched on my knee I am sitting against a tall slanted pine tree when I am here, I feel free The water falling is what I hear when I am sitting there

Staring at my reflection below, the tree branches hanging over me, low My skin is so cold yet, my heart is warm to hold On my face, I feel the wind pick up it’s pace now all my fears, the birds will chase The waterfall is where I like to be It’s the only place where I can truly be me

In my sanctuary Staring at my reflection below, the person I see is me, I know.
