rumi likes to kiss your lips and hands. as traditional as it gets, she finds comfort first in holding your hands, caressing your knuckles gently or playing with your hands. then, she moves to kiss them softly, always seeking to press her lips on yours right after it. the caressing of hands is like build-up and the secret messages of affection rumi shows before sealing it with a kiss to your lips. kissing her soft lips always feels like heaven to you. why wouldn't it when she's a sweetheart?

neck. oddly enough, she's not too much of a romantic. sure, she likes little touches with your fingers, hands always seeking silent comfort to with your hands and all. but when she wants to kiss you, mira finds herself buried in the crook of your neck, kissing softly and gently. it's not in the sexual way where it'll leave marks, but it's enough for your skin to memorise the way her lips feels against you and her lipgloss stains which will definitely leave marks on your neck.

A/N: Saw this meme going around so of course I'd write it for my new favorite trio.
RUMI
"From what I know it means... well... it means... I love you. And I do you know! Where exactly did you see that though?" Her shy demeanor turned curious, her lip caught between her teeth.
You tapped on your phone, the lock screen of the two of you with a bunch of hearts illuminating the table. "I posted that picture of me getting my nails done. Later I checked the comments and I saw a lot of those. I could have looked it up I figured I could ask you first. I thought it might be some Huntr/x thing."
Rumi blinked slowly, her patterns lighting up like a rainbow as she started laughing but not at you, never at you. She closed the distance between your bodies, nuzzling her face against your neck and letting out a loud rumbling sound.
"You are so cute! I'm gonna start leaving those comments under everything you post, so our fans know that I love you the most." Hundreds of kisses, and a subtle dragging of teeth, were already more than enough to convince you of that, but it couldn't hurt to let the fans know how much she loves you.
MIRA
Her arms tightened around you as you asked that entirely innocent question. She glanced at the phone in your hands, then back to you. "Means I love you, of course. Who told you that?" You chuckled as Mira frowned, "Seriously babe, who told you that?"
"It's all over the comment section of the photo shoot. Well those and some... things I'd rather not repeat. But mostly that one." You turned and moved to sit on Mira's lap, her arms holding you possessively. "ILY, Mira."
The eyeroll was so intense her eyes almost got stuck. It would be a shame because they're beautiful. "That doesn't sound right when you say it out loud. Just say you love me."
"I love you, Mira." You kissed her right as she was about to say it back to you. "I love you, Mira. I love you so much, my pretty girl." Mira groaned against your mouth, her hands running up and down your back, your thighs, trying to convey the words that you silenced with her lips. You knew you loved each other, but every once in a while it was nice to affirm it.
ZOEY
Zoey tapped her chin and let out a long thoughtful hum, her whole body shimmying in your lap. "Well... it means something I tell you every day. Something I told you this morning. What was that again?"
"I love you?" The moment the words left your mouth the meaning of the letters hit you. It was that simple, now you felt a little silly. Not that you had time to dwell on it as your cute girlfriend turned sideways and kissed your cheek with a loud mwah sound.
"And I love you too!" She leaned her head against your collarbone, her hands quickly grabbing her phone and typing something up. A few seconds later you heard a message sound go off. On the screen was a message from Zoey. "ILY." And a whole lot of heart emojis. You chuckled, one hand winding up around her and the other typing out the same message.
Squealing she hugged you tight and attacked you with kisses, "You're so silly." And you loved her for it. Actually it added a lot to her charm, in your personal opinion.

RUMI
Her surprise isn't only obvious, it's visible. Her patterns immediately light up as she recognizes the song. "Are you streaming their music?"
"No! Of course not... it's my ringtone..." You mumble, phone held close to your chest. "It's catchy. But of course I like your songs better! I can change it if you want."
Rumi sighs and rubs her eyes, willing herself to calm down. "No, I... you don't need to do that, sweetheart. But I don't want you going to their events without me. Deal?" Her eyes are almost pleading and you can't look away as you put the phone down, wrap your arms around her and pull her close.
"Don't worry, Rumi, no one can steal me away from you." And you meant that wholeheartedly. But Rumi, she needed a few kisses to be fully convinced.
MIRA
"Ugh, really babe? That song? You couldn't have picked literally anything else?" Mira groaned as she slumped from your hug, her back now turned to you and her arms crossed over her chest.
You snorted at her jealousy. Mira was heavily protective of you, but she also got jealous easily. This ran deeper, this wasn't just a rival group, but one made up of demons that she had sworn to hunt.
"Not like I'm going to their shows or backstage or anything. But I do think the song is really nice. Hey, come on, look at me Mira." She huffed but you knew how to get to her. With a smile you pressed your soft front to her back, your lips ghosting her ear, "I'll make it up to you." You whispered in a breathy, sultry tone.
"It better be good." She could never stay mad at you, not when you were so cute. "Come on then, I'm waiting."
ZOEY
You didn't even get to say anything before you saw Zoey mouthing the words of the song. She didn't even notice she was doing it until you started laughing.
"Damn it! Why is it so catchy?!" She fell backwards on the couch and kicked her feet. "You noticed it too huh, beautiful? I wanna hate it but I just can't! Don't tell the others!"
She looked serious but you couldn't help but laugh. "Don't worry, Zoey." You leaned over her and lowered yourself for a kiss. "Your secret is safe with me. Sealed it with a kiss. Or two, or three."
"Good. I won't tell if you won't. But..." Her hands gripped the front of your shirt and she got serious for a moment. "Just so you know, I ain't letting any demon steal my girl." That was her promise that was also sealed with a kiss. Or two, or three.

When she pulls you against her on the couch as you're watching a movie and parts your lips with her tongue, poking at them just moments before that to make you tremble under her hands you all but melt against her, into her. The longer the make out session goes on the rougher her kisses get, bruising both your lips, smudging the lipstick, leaving no doubt that she craves you.
ZOEY
Loves teasing you with her kisses as much as her words if not more, if that's even possible. When she's feeling really mischievous she will simply lean in and give you a quick kiss wherever she can land it and pull away before you can kiss back but not before she leaves your lipstick on you. Giggling like she's perfectly innocent and doesn't know what she's doing to you she will skip right back to practice, making you sigh, swooning and in frustration. She grins when you've finally had enough and pull her into her room with great haste, demanding she stop teasing and kiss you properly.

And in addition to that your place is always the place she will chose to go to when she needs to step away from the spotlight because you treat her like a normal person, well you and her team do anyway.
Celebrity crush!Mira teases you so much when the two of you stumble into your bedroom for the first time and she sees all the HUNTR/X posters but more importantly posters of her. Since when were you such a big fan and why did you hide it from her all this time, she could have teased you all this time. Of course it's not mallicious teasing, she wouldn't make fun of you, after all her band is pretty great. Now that she knows you like her group so much she feels like she needs to put extra effort when she performs, to impress you a little more.
Celebrity crush!Zoey becomes a bit of blushing mess when you confess that you've had a crush on her for a while now, but of course her status wasn't the reason you started dating her. It was because you loved her personally, not her talent or fame. Well now that she is aware she gives you an exclusive backstage pass, you can go anytime you want and she's happy when she realizes that you use it to give her good luck kisses. Since she's the youngest of the HUNTR/X she is also the subject of teasing for sneaking her lover backstage and then trying to hide you when you get caught.

the numbers trill on the screen as their smiles tighten. they expected this — since the saja boys came to be, huntrix had slid to the back of everyone’s minds.
and the boys won — again.
“well,” a half-hearted sigh is heard. you’re clapping sarcastically, lips curled into a scowl as you slide up beside mira. “congrats once again, girls. another win under your belt.”
rumi sags, “we didn’t win, [name].”
“what.” you blink, squinting to see the results on the board once more. straightening up, your scowl deepens. “a man won?”
mira’s hands land on your shoulders, turning your body so you can see the bowing bodies. you blanch, “five men won? oh, absolutely not.”
it’s at midnight the next night when she sees it. pulling her phone closer, mira makes a noise of confusion at the newest music video she sees. she fights with the blankets on her bed, rushing to the living area where rumi is making a snack and zoey is also on her phone. their eyes meet.
“no way, right?” zoey’s eyes are wide as she shows her phone screen. rumi slurps up her soup as she meets the two on the couch. “this doesn’t have anything to do with us losing, right?”
mira agrees quickly, “can’t be. [name] is the meanest person i know.”
rumi looks her up and down slowly before swallowing her food. “wow. and you’re saying that.”
rolling her eyes, mira shoves her friend lightly before pressing replay on your music video. it had to be a coincidence — maybe you just didn’t like losing.
another awards event. her nails are even ; makeup on and glitter stuck where it should be. mira stands to the left of rumi as always, face forward as other idols line up beside her.
she finds herself humming a familiar bubbly tune. it wiped the saja boys off of search engines — your pop! replacing theirs. mira hated to admit it, but it was a catchy tune — the complete opposite of how you actually are.
“are you singing my song?” mira jumps, seeing you peering quietly over her shoulder. you grin widely, your eyes still dull before you close them. “cute! i didn’t know you were a fan.”
mira sighs, blowing a stray piece of hair out of her face. “it’s annoying. and stuck in my head.”
you hum, shrugging as you look away from her. “better than that other one.” to prove your point, you mimic the shoulder wiggle you’d seen the saja boys doing.
and mira laughs. it’s small, and she looked to the floor as she did so, but it made you pause. “oh,” you say softly. you blink as mira quickly puts her face back in neutral. “you’re really pretty like that.”
before she can respond, you’re announced as the winner. this you really didn’t expect — you just didn’t want those boys to win. you accept the flowers you’re given, bowing with a lost expression on your face.
mira laughs quietly again — she agrees, you are pretty like this.
you sing for your encore, waving at fans and idols as they leave the stage. before huntrix can make their exit, you’re tugging zoey close and handing the microphone to her. rumi bristles but eases into the song, singing beside her.
mira waits, hiding her grin as you drag her out next. she dances with you as the chorus comes on, somehow knowing the exact dance you were doing. [she watched the dance practice a few times for inspiration, that’s all!]
the most replayed video of the night was mira — in all her edgy, cool girl glory — tucking a flower from your bouquet behind your ear.
