All the girls, for different reasons, doesn't want to be the first to say 'I love you'.
Zoey doesn't want to say it first because she's scared of being too much. Despite the fact that you never mad her feel like too much, she's scared she'll scare you away by saying it first. What if you think she said it too soon? What if you think the relationship is moving too fast? What if she makes you uncomfortable by saying it first?
The closest Zoey gets to saying it first was one afternoon when she was helping making lunch with you. Well helping was not quite the right word. She sat on the counter across from you, taking about a game that caught her eye as you made the food. She's talking about how she loves the gameplay and how the puzzles were fun to solve.
She was explaining about how she was stuck on one particle puzzle when it hit her: she's been doing all the talking. Too much talking. Slowly, Zoey stops talking ,afraid she's already said too much. The kitchen goes quite saved for the sound of food cooking. Soon, you pause cooking and look at her.
"Babe, why did you stop talking?"
Zoey is caught off guard by your question. Not many people would ask why stopped talking, rather they would ask her to stop. "Oh, I don't want to bore you with a dumb game I like," she said, waving her hand like she was shooing her overtalking.
You let out a light laugh and turn back to the food. " Zoey you could never bore me. I love hearing you talk."
Zoey sat frozen, staring at your back. You didn't mind her talking. In fact you loved to hear her. You actually wanted to hear her.
The urger to say 'I love you' bubbled up in Zoey's throat, threating to spill out. She wants to tell you that she loves you so badly. Instead of letting the words tumble out, Zoey cleared her throat and kept talking about about the game.
Rumi doesn't want to say it first because she doesn't feel like she earned it. She's lying to you every day about who she is. Lying about what she is. How can she say it when she's not being truthful with you?
She gets really close to saying it one night after a long day. She's cuddled up to your side, her head resting on your chest. The sound of your steady heart beat was soothing. You had out on a random medical drama and was calling out all the characters that were being dumb.
Rumi loved moments like this, where it was just you and her. She didn't need to be Rumi the idol or Rumi the leader. She could just be Rumi.
She snuggled closer, feeling so relaxed as you draw random shapes on her side while making comments about the show.
The words 'I love you' are on the tip of Rumi's tongue, about to be said when you fingers touch her skin, her patterns. She sits up so fast like she's been burned by your touch.
What's wrong," you ask, looking at her with so much care and concern it makes Rumi hate herself when she lies to you.
"Nothing, just need to use the bathroom right quick," she says quickly, climbing out your arms, hating the way she feels cold now, patterns burring from shame.
Closing the bathroom and locking it, Rumi stand in front the mirror, gripping the sink hard. Her patterns burning from the shame and self hatred she was feeling. You deserve someone way better than her. Someone who isn't lying to you every second.
After a bit, Rumi splashes her face with water, trying to drag herself out of her thoughts. It doesn't work as she goes back to you.
Not know that the idol was at war with herself, you open your arms, ready to get back to cuddling. To your surprise, Rumi doesn't get back into your arms, but sits next to you. You raise your eyebrow but end up not saying anything. You didn't want to push her to cuddle if she doesn't want to anymore.
Rumi desperately wanted to take refuge in your arms but she doesn't deserve that. Just like she doesn't deserve to say 'I love you'. So she keeps those words buried deep in her chest.
Mira doesn't want to say it first because she's the cool girl. If she were to say it first, then you might not think she's cool anymore. You might see her as a needy loser.
She's the closest to saying it during dinner.
After working oh so hard to order food and waiting for it to be delivered, Mira was sitting across from you, listing to you talk about your day.
She loved eating dinner at the table like this. No phones, no TV, no distractions. Just you and her.
She was talking about how one of her producers was being an ass when she noticed something moving on the wall. It was a dark spot that moved a bit and then stop.
Squinting at the wall, Mira was trying to figure out what it was. Seeing her do this you were about to ask what was going on when she jumped out of her chair.
"Spider," Mira whispered, pointing to the thing in question. she hated spiders. Couldn't stand being around them. Hated the way they walked with too many legs. She rather face a army of demons than see a spider.
You looked at where she pointing and sure enough there was a spider crawling around. "Hold on let me get something to catch it."
You were about to go find paper and a cup when Mira grab your arm. "Please don't leave me," voice sounding small.
You carefully take her hand in your own and give it a quick reassuring squeeze. "I'm only going to be gone for a second. Promise."
Mira lets go and turns her attention back to her mortal enemy. As much she wanted to look away, she forced herself to watch it crawl around on the wall to make sure it didn't escape.
Ture to your word, you were only gone for a second. Armed with a cup and a random piece of paper, you approached the spider. "Alright little guy, we can do this the easy way or the hard way."
You catch the spider much to Mira's relief. You make your way to the small balcony just off your kitchen, making sure you keep your distance from Mira, not wanting to scare her more.
"You scared my girlfriend dude. That's not very nice but I know you didn't mean it," you tell the spider as you let it go. You watch it as it crawled away.
Now that the spider was gone, Mira was able to calm down. She sat at the table again to pull herself together.
"So spiders scare you, huh," you ask after returning from releasing the monster in question.
Mira nods as she pokes at her food, embarrassed of being scared of something so small.
You kiss her temple before taking your seat across from her. "I get it. They can be creepy as hell sometimes. But hey you have a certified spider catcher now. Just call me and I'll get rid of any spiders that bother you."
While most people would tease her over her fear, you proudly named yourself her spider catcher. Didn't bat an eye at learning her fear, just promise to take care of it, of her when it came up. You didn't even make fun of her for grabbing into you and begged you not to go like a child.
That's when it hit the dancer. You wanted all of her. The cool girl persona she puts on, the one who went into panic mode when seeing a tiny spider and even the blunt one who sometimes worded thing a bit harsh. You wanted all of it.
Mira wanted to say 'I love you' so badly it almost hurt. But she made a fool of herself enough tonight so instead she said
"Thank you."

Jinu x Older Sister!Reader (Rumi’s Sister)
(with Rumi)
When Rumi first finds out Jinu likes you, she is not happy. She immediately assumes he has bad intentions. The first conversation between them is basically.
“If you hurt my sister, I’ll kill you.”
“Good to know we’re starting friendly.”
She watches him like a hawk whenever he’s around you.
Jinu absolutely cannot resist provoking Rumi. He’ll casually stand a little too close to you just to see her glare. Sometimes he’ll say things like:
“Your sister likes me more than you do.”
Which immediately results in Rumi threatening violence. But he never does it in a way that actually disrespects you, he just enjoys getting under her skin.
With you, Jinu is surprisingly softer. He respects that you’re strong and capable. Instead of treating you delicately, he treats you like an equal partner. He loves when you challenge him or call him out. You’re one of the very few people who can shut him up with a single look.
Rumi unintentionally becomes a permanent third wheel. She constantly shows up during conversations. If Jinu tries to flirt with you, she’s suddenly standing between you.
Example:
Jinu: “You look good today.”
Rumi: “We’re leaving.”
You: “Rumi—”
Rumi: “Now.”
Jinu finds it hilarious.
Over time, Rumi starts noticing things. Jinu protects you during fights without hesitation. He gets genuinely angry if someone insults you. He never lets you face danger alone. That’s when she realizes. He isn’t playing around. He actually cares about you.
Even though they argue constantly. Jinu respects how fiercely Rumi protects you. Rumi respects that Jinu never backs down when it comes to you. They’d never say it out loud, but they both know: You’re the one person they’d burn the world down for.
If you’re hurt on a mission. Rumi goes into protective sister mode. Jinu becomes deadly quiet, which is honestly scarier.
Rumi: “We’re finding whoever did this.”
Jinu: “…Already on it.”
That poor enemy is not surviving.
UPDATE!
Hiii 🩷 it’s me, Aila.
A lot of things have happened… and you might have noticed that I haven’t really been updating much, even though I promised I would. I’m really sorry.
I just want to be honest. There’s a possible chance that I won’t be continuing the “SONGBIRD” series or any of my KPDH series in my drafts. I know it sucks, especially since I made a lot of promises that I’d finish it.
I don’t think saying I have family problems or that I’ve been busy with college is enough to cover everything. I don’t want to make excuses anymore, so I’ll just be honest. Aside from those things, I think the main reason is that I’ve lost interest in writing it.
I still love the characters, the yandere theme, and the plot I’ve had in my mind for so long. But after everything that’s been happening, and being away from KPDH for a while, I got burned out. I lost the energy and motivation to continue writing the story. Maybe I’m just being lazy… I don’t really know.
I could still write some small KPDH drabbles or yandere skits, but I don’t think I can continue the full story anymore. And I don’t want to make you all wait or expect the next chapter of something that might not continue.
For now, that’s my reason. I’m really sorry for making you wait and expect something that I might end up scrapping. I just hope that one day I’ll find that spark again and come back to writing “Songbird”, but right now… there’s nothing like that.
I’ll still post yandere fics here, just from different fandoms—when I have free time ofc and I’m not drowning in schoolwork and projects.
Thank youu 🩷
Here's another brain worm yall. It's been a minute since I had one, enjoy!

Polytrix x reader cause I'm bored at work
- We all know that Mira is the protector of the relationship. Someone is being rude to Rumi? Mira will have words with them. Someone is making fun of Zoey and making her feel bad? Mira needs to be held back or else she's going to punch them. Someone makes a gross comment about you? Mira is ready to start swinging.
- Rumi and Mira pretend to hate it when you and Zoey steal their clothes but they secretly love it. Both of them have so many pictures of you and Zoey in their clothes.
- If you work a job that makes you work late, at least one of the girls shows up to walk you home or bring you to the penthouse. If they are on tour, they'll send a driver with very strict instructions to get you home.
- It doesn't take long for you to move into the penthouse. You already spend a lot of time there anyways so might as well make it official.
- As already established, separately these girls are really bad when it comes to bragging about you, Mira is of course the worst. All three together? Oh it's over. They once got three days of punishment training because Mira triggered Zoey and Rumi into talking about you and how cute you looked.
- Each girl has a different style of dates they take you one. Zoey tends to do more activity orientated dates like taking you skateboarding. Mira likes to take you places and just walk around like an art show or museum. Rumi prefer more lowkey and private dates like having a nice night in or climbing on the roof to stargaze. Group dates tend to be cooking at home together and then cuddling.
- They teach you self-defense. These girls are so worried that you're going to be hurt by a demon or crazy fan when they're not around to keep you safe. It's one of the few times you'll see Zoey being really serious.
- Before the relationship is made public, the ship wars are intense. Some fans are sure you're dating Zoey and Rumi and Mira are in their own relationship. Others think it's Mira and you and it's Rumi and Zoey who's dating. Safe to save the internet broke when it comes out it's a poly relationship.
- More often than not, there's fights about who gets to spoil who. When it comes time to pay, it's about who pulls out their wallets the fastest. It gets to the point where if you want to spoil any of your girls, you have to plan the date well in advance and give your card info in ad6 so they can't pay behind your back.
- When it comes to sleeping at night, it often happens in either Mira or Rumi's rooms. Zoey's bed is covered in stuffed animals so it's impossible to do a cuddle pile on her bed.
- They get so sad when on tour cause they don't get to cuddle you. One of them will point something out you would like and the other two would sadly agree.
- When they're back from the tour, it's impossible to escape them. You're basically being held hostage in a cuddle pile.
- When it's your birthday you're not allowed to lift a single finger. Mira is carrying you everywhere, Rumi is bringing you food, Zoey is always keeping your favorite snacks within arms reach. You're treated like royalty on your birthday, spoiled absolutely rotten.
You just know the girls goes nuts when your one year anniversary rolls around.
Zoey is loud and proud of her one year anniversary with you. She's constantly bringing it up with whoever will be forced listen to her. She'll make posts about it on her social media the days leading up to it because she's so excited. Zoey has a notebook full of ideas of how to celebrate the anniversary. She started that notebook like a month before the actually anniversary because she kept getting ideas for it and needed to write them down. Of course, she write you a love song. She actually writes you multiple love songs, enough to fill a notebook. What can she say, you are her muse. Zoey is a little nerves to get them to you, worried the amount of love songs will be overwhelming and scare you off. You adore them, each and every love song. Will post about your gift once you give it to her, bragging how amazing it is and how lucky she is to have you.
Mira is similar to Zoey where she's telling everyone about the up coming anniversary. She's a lover girl, she will take any chance she can to brag about you and the fact that she's been with you a whole year. Mira is basically counting the seconds to the anniversary. While she does talk about the anniversary, she's more privative about the anniversary itself. She'll make a cheesy post about how happy and grateful she is that you picked her, but other than that, she doesn't say much about. She wants to be able to celebrate it with you without worrying fans interrupting it. Just know that she absolutely wakes up well before you do so she can fill your apartment with flowers and gifts. Mira gets you so many flowers you wake up confused, thinking you somehow got into a flower shop. When she takes you out, she'll bring up how it's your guy's anniversary however she can. 'It's our anniversary, what do you recommend to celebrate it?' 'Since it's our anniversary, I only want the best you offer'. When you give Mira her gift, she acts like its the most precious thing ever. Guards it with her life.
Rumi is the most private about the anniversary, but that doesn't take away how much effort she puts into it. She's planning things well in advance of the anniversary. She's a lot more lowkey about it then Zoey or Mira. No one but her most immediate circle of friends and family knows about it. One of the few times she'll ask Bobby to not schedule anything for that day. Rumi wants her focus solely on you. With how busy her day to day life is, she wants to take a slower approach to the anniversary. Spending a good amount of time cuddled up in bed with you, sharing kisses and 'I love yous' before getting out and finally facing the day. The amount of effort Rumi puts in really shows by how she's taking you to places you like while making sure fans don't interpret anything. That might mean renting out a whole place for a few hours. If a fan does try to get in the way, Rumi will polity but firmly shoo them away. The night ends with a romantic dinner. Roses, candle lights, soft music, the whole nine yards. When you give her gift, Rumi is speechless for a minute before pulling you into a kiss and whispering 'thank you' after the kiss breaks. The anniversary end with her cuddling you, her heart so full of love for you. She's already looking forward to the next anniversary.
