Case #016: The Yellow Bunny.
Welcome to the Paranormal Society of Oregon. Here we investigate the supernatural and things affected by it, particularly in our own theories of how the Paranormal and Afterlife may work. Out of all the Cases we investigate, some in recent times are Animatronic or Animatronic Show-related.
Our latest case is our first to break from our more traditional beliefs, defying our expectations.
Name: William A. Afton, 40 years old at death, birthdate XXXXX XX 1963.
Paranormal Class: Red. DO NOT INTERACT WITHOUT SUPERVISION.
Case #016 is to be kept inside a glass case at all costs. Any attempts to remove it will result in you being removed from the PSO for neglect of safety procedures. Do not listen to anything Case#016 says to you, it is a lie.
Case#016 formerly was and is the famed Hurricane Hare, a serial killer that plagued the town of Hurricane Utah from 2002 - 2005.
In October of 2005, just two weeks ago, several of the organization's founders came up with a ploy to catch and kill the Serial Killer, due to the murder of a very close relative to one of them in Hurricane. Under the guise of eager Entrepreneurs, they created a horror attraction called "Hurricane Horrors". While the imagery from the attraction was exaggerated and in bad taste, this was in order to lure the Hurricane Hare in with ease. After an investigation took place, William A. Afton found himself inside the attraction hoping to murder a child. However, several audio lures had been placed around the building in order to simulate the presence of one, and during this confusion, our main Founder [ REDACTED ] stabbed him to death in a moment of the killer's weakness. While this was surprisingly easy, we note that in a situation where William A. Afton had the upper hand, it would have been likely this whole endeavor to bring him to justice would have ended in disaster.
Shortly after this, Hurricane Horrors closed down and the Paranormal Society of Oregon worked to erase it's existence on a legal scale.
Soon we would find that, unlike other items under supernatural effects, Case #016 surpassed our expectations.
To give a brief rundown to newcomers to our Organization, our running theory on the Paranormal is something called Agony: The culmination of pain, suffering, and other negative emotions that can affect things long after a spirit has passed from the mortal plane. Normally, events and paranormal activity caused by this do not need the presence of a body, although it is more common when it is within 5-15 ft of an object. This goes for various items we have catalogued since our Organization began.
Case #016, however, goes directly against this. Attempts to remove the Easter Bunny costume on William A. Afton's corpse resulted in nothing, as further research revealed that the corpse had merged with the inside of the suit. This was also carried alongside information that, despite being carefully preserved and dead for only a few days within our Main Headquarters, it looked to be severely rotted, as if time had passed abnormally.
We are currently keeping Case# 016 here for the potential to interrogate William A. Afton and learn any more information, as it may prove valuable to our research with the uniqueness of its case.
