Hurricane Hat by Andrea Guldin (free pattern on Ravelry)
I need to get a model so I can take a picture of this hat in the sunlight. The pops of color and subtle sparkle are so gorgeous but hard to photograph in artificial light.
Ravelry: ArmeSmash's Hurricane Hat
My fiber godmother’s yarn is knitting up so pretty! I can’t wait to wear this hat!
I have finished a thing!!! (It still needs washing and blocking, but it's the first thing I've finished in MONTHS)
I might actually finish a thing, guys! Before winter, even!
This is my hurricane hat! My second attempt at a hat, the first one was way to small, I didn't read the length correctly and it would really only fit a babes head. It's nice to achieve something like this, to make my own hat and I actually like it enough to wear :D!
So knitting is on again. So here's my this season's first work, a three colored Hurricane Hat. See http://lovehestia.wordpress.com/2012/07/19/hurricane-hat-pattern/ for instructions.
