Brief Update

Hello all!

So for those who might not know a hurricane swept through some parts of the south last weekend. I was unfortunately effected by it and lost power for a day or two and had to pull more hours at work because of it. I still plan on getting the RO bios out today though. I am currently plugging away even, I just totally forgot about doing a little update during the week. Hope anyone else effected by Hurricane Delta stayed safe and didn’t suffer too much damage or loss.

Dorian is at a cat 5 with 185mph sustained winds... And I still have to go into work tomorrow. Bruh. We're already getting the outer-outer bands.

I told a lady at work today that I only bought two cases of water for this hurricane....she’s dropping off two more cases for me tomorrow. For the record.....we are 250 miles inland....

... Anyone familiar with Stephen King’s Storm of the Century? Seems like this is kind of like that, except instead of a blizzard, it’s a hurricane.

... And it’s Florida. Not Maine.

I’m kind of surprised no one has made any mention about Hurricane Charley - Charley was pretty big too - maybe not the biggest, but it was still pretty big.

And, looking at Irma, Irma has a very similar path that Charley did ; the only difference being that Charley came around south of Cuba, where’s Irma is coming up north of Cuba.

hi ive been dead for a million years aka like a week but im home now!!!!!!! hurricane free and with a fair amount of cyclone repellent to help me carry on my merry way and go back to the draws n life n stuff!!!

good news!!! not much was damaged and all my feral cats are accounted for

the only damage was one of my shop windows lmao its ded but at least it wasnt the one i painted a giant fucking pikachu on to remind everyone my building is a pokestop, cause how the fuck else will they know its a pokestop

once when we were about to have a hurricane and my parents were like "the lights are gonna go out during the hurricane, go get yourself something to read"

and i only had like three books in my room so i printed out like 100+ pgs of inuyasha fanfics and hid them in my room

and after the hurricane my sister found them and was like "omfg is this porn, ciara where'd you get this???"

thats not even the first time something like that has happened to me though

i mean i like to joke about it because ive lived through so many hurricanes but 

hurricane sandy is really scary

the east coast isnt as prepared for hurricanes as my gulf coast towns were

and it's kind of likely that at least one person i know will die or get seriously hurt during it

and i dont mean to scare anyone in its path but

damn i just hope you guys are safe :(
