Hello to all of my wonderful friends on tumblr!!! To all my Sterek lovelies but also to all my lovelies in general as well, I just wanted to pop by here real quick to say that I live in Grand Cayman and we’re currently under a hurricane warning for Evil Queen Beryl (this is what I’ve named her).

Jamaica will soon get hit by her at least by Wednesday afternoon and very late/early Thursday morning like around midnight, we’ll start feeling it.

So! We most likely won’t have power and if Beryl is going to be anything like Ivan back in 2004, then least to say..we’re a bit screwed.

Not to worry though! My family and I have stocked up nicely so we should be good and we’ve got the hurricane shutters activated so I’m not super worried. Just worried about my cats But the main point I would like to get to now is that since we most likely won’t have power, then I won’t be on for a bit but just wanted to say that I love you all and will miss you for the time I’m away but I’ll be back, I promise!

We’re under a hurricane warning and let me tell you a thing…. We are good with nor’easters but we are totally fucked if we actually get hit by this hurricane.

The news is telling us to “prepare”. What does that mean????? Charge my phone?? Move everything out of my garage??? Is this the one with the bathtub thing???

Have you noticed how your chicken/quail/pigeon..... knows about the weather before you do. The way I know if it will rain tomorrow is by watching my birds oiling their feathers the night before. What about the fact too that birds know before we do when someone is approaching, even before we can see or hear them? All the very best from Normandie, Love Sue and Andy xxxx

In a tropical storm watch

So apparently Dorian is not gonna hit me anymore, but I am in a tropical storm watch. Yippie. I love storms. Bummed it won't hit us, but glad to not be getting hit directly by a category 4/5. That's scary
