1)  favourite place in your country?

Now now. Tricky question. If in doubt, never visit the capitol Oslo. Go to Bergen, the biggest city on the west coast. If you can afford it, proceed to go on an 11 day cruise trip from Bergen, to Kirkenes (the city close to the border with Russia) and back to Bergen. It features the best we have to offer. Norwegian fjords, clean water and air, and a sight that will leave you pinching your arm for long after you’ve returned home.

5) favourite song in your native language?

Tricky one. But probably this one: “Fyret ved tornehamn” - Kari Bremnes

The text is really pretty.

6) most hated song in your native language?

Trickier. There are plenty of universally hated songs. But my current one? It’s called Sommerkroppen (Summerbody), and the guy sings about how he is using a clinic and plastic surgery to get a good looking body instead of working out and eating healthy.

10. most enjoyable swear word in your native language?

I HAVE A STRONG LOVE FOR THE WORD: fitte. It’s an exasperated version of cunt, and not as bad. Cunt gives people heart attacks, fitte won’t do that. It’s more a mix of pussy and cunt, I suppose. And it conveys my tired and exhausted and angry emotions beautifully.
