Ah lightning powers (Z1/AoL Link named Clay! For the ... clay)
Happy pride month from my Hero's Vessel boys :) These are labels that I'm using as I write them and imagine them, not necessarily ones that they use themselves. I had so much fun drawing these headshots goodness gracious look how CUTE.
Still trying to animate this but there are more pieces than I thought so take the pretty still version for now!
Hero's Vessel masterpost
Clay has discovered the Eyes of Ganon, the aches. This will not scar him for life.
(Clay is the Z1/2 Link from Hero's Vessel)
Clay
Legend of Zelda 1, Adventure of Link
20 years old, 5'8" (178 cm)
Hero's Vessel Masterpost
After defeating Ganon the first time as a teenager, Clay found himself freeing the princess with a massive chest wound. The princess, having read about Heroes in the past, suggested that something might be done with the dust and dirt all around them. Using a muddy clay made from cave dirt and their bloods, Zelda helped to save him. Since then, he's used different dirts quite liberally to staunch his bleeding and repair parts of him that get fatally wounded. He'll use anything if he has to, but he has his favorite kinds of dirt, and knows plenty about it by now.
Clay has his spells and his survivalist skills to get him where he needs to go, as well as formidable sword skills. He doesn't need to eat as much as he used to, but he does have to pay attention to keep the mud bits of him neither too wet nor too dry. They can start falling apart...
Unlike other LoZ 1/2 worlds, Clay's is rather populated and prosperous. There are patches of extreme sickness in the land, and he's been working on healing them, but overall it's a green place, even in the wake of Ganon's rampage.
Clay can be uncomfortable around people, but they usually find him warm and friendly, always ready with a laugh and a story. He doesn't advertise his unusual body composition, and few ever find it out, but he's shy about it, and secretly fears that he'll be shunned and hunted (more than he already is) if it became known. He keeps to himself and he's perfectly happy that way. Despite his shyness, he can be rather reckless, and doesn't make much of an effort to keep himself flesh.
