Marin + Midna + Linkle were a fucking terrifying trio during the War of Eras.
On the battlefield Linkle would target the leader with terrifying accuracy while Midna took out the smaller forces in waves, and Marin flawlessly switched between the two.
Off the battlefield, they could read fucking anyone like a book. They will look at you and know your greatest insecurities and fears in an instant. Do not fuck with them, they’re scary.
In the B-Team AU, even though they’ve all forged new connections and close friends, they still come back to each other for comfort. Something about fighting together for months on end creates bonds like nothing else.
Also, I just like the idea of Warriors not only knowing both Marin and Midna but them being his sister’s best friends. My man is getting his ass kicked when Legend and Twilight realize this.
Little mini story I guess for the first day of @hyrulewarriorsweek. It was just going to be one simple doodle but it spiraled into this:
Link wakes up to yet another day, ready to set off for heroing and oh no! His scarf is missing!
Surely he has some spares in his closet and-nope, completely empty too.
Luckily enough, Link is able to “borrow” Ravio’s scarf for a bit until he’s able to get his own scarfs back. Ravio is happy about this, because he was able to gain a few extra rupees from this ordeal.
Link meets up with Sheik, who tells him that Lana gave her his scarf after she had taken it for some reason. But now it was messed up and dirty, so Sheik took it to clean it up. Link doesn’t understand what reasons Lana could have had to take his scarf, so Sheik points him in Toon Link’s direction, who may have had similar reasons to Lana, according to Sheik.
…looks like someone is having fun at least. Was Lana also doing this? …it’s probably better if doesn’t know. Time to look elsewhere for his other scarves.
And Minda is playing with her shadow wolf. With Link’s scarf. That is already bitten into. This day just keeps getting worse for him, huh.
Link spots Phantom Zelda with one of his scarves, styled similarly to Tetra’s scarf. Link moves on, knowing how much Phantom Zelda seeks her ancestor’s approval. He approaches Marin in a tired state, and she nervously tells him where his other two scarves are.
Yuga seems to be holding a fashion show with the two sword spirits. Yeah, for sure, why not?
Link returns Ravio’s scarf to him before going to his bed. He’s had a long day, and is now scarfless for the foreseeable future. And would have to go about the rest of his day scarfless. At least he still has his tunic.
As Link is considering what his next step would be, whether that be to ask for one of his scarfs back or to just keep waiting, someone tugs to his sleeve. It’s Young Link! And he has a hand-woven scarf made just for him! Sure it’s made out of leaves, but it’s also made out of love as well.
And now Captain Link can set out with a beautiful new scarf with a happy little Link in tow.
