If you want to travel with me, then, by all means, you may follow me like a lost puppy.” Her arms had crossed and the only reason she waited was to see what his decision would be. Otherwise, she would have returned to her duties and disappeared. However, while they may have shared similar histories that ended with tragedy, Angel knew she was different. It was a certain fact that separated one from the other.
She knew that her sacrifice was noble. Was it in vain? Maybe, but she had no regrets if it meant that her siblings and children were safe for a time. Even with the near extinction of her kind, she knew she was right. They were the ones who had gone back on their promises and she rectified their sins with their blood.
“You may call me Angel. It is the name I died with and the name I will continue to live on with.” If anything, she still seemed as proud as she did when she was living...
