Hi! I’ve been trying to find this fic for a while and it honestly might have been deleted. Peter was kidnapped when he was a child. Tony is kidnapped later on and meets child Peter there in the cell. I think this is where the fic begins. Tony essentially raises him in there for years and there’s some human experimentation stuff? They try to escape many times and I think there was like a device thing they were making at some point. I know they eventually get out but they were held captive for a loooong time.

“I don’t want to give up,” Peter whispers. “I don’t want to.” “We won’t,” Tony whispers back, knowing they’re probably listening. “It’s just—this place—it’s made to drive us crazy, it’s made to—keep us off kilter and confused and doubtful and—” “Don’t doubt yourself,” Peter whispers, tightening his hold on him. “Or me.” “I don’t doubt you,” Tony says, rubbing his shoulder. “Ever, okay? You’re the only—thing that matters, alright?” “You matter,” Peter says, and he lets out a big sigh that someone his age shouldn’t have to contend with. “You matter,” Tony repeats. “And I just—it’s hard because—I’m the adult, you know? But I had to sort of—I wasn’t exactly a responsible—adult, before they nabbed me, we’ve discussed this—” “You liked parties—” “Yeah,” Tony says, a little laugh-sob escaping him, and he’s only told Peter about some of his antics. “But I—I wasn’t ready for…a situation like this.”

“Uh, it’s awake,” he states, as Clint peers over.

“So do something.”

Steve throws a look at Clint. “Like what? You do something.”

“Well, it seems fine, not cryi—”

The baby suddenly opens its mouth and wails. Loudly.

Steve glares at Clint. “That is your fault.”

Snippet:

“I’m going to find your dad for you,” he whispers. “I swear it. I promise you, I’ll find him.”

He takes a breath and forces himself to turn back to the group, focusing on Bruce instead of their shocked faces, even though seeing Tony shocked is a rare occurrence. “What’s her name?”

Bruce startles a little at the question. “She, um, doesn’t appear to have one according to this. Just a subject number.”

Steve frowns. She should have a name. But that’s okay. When Bucky comes back, he can choose her name for her. That’s how it should be after all.

“Wait,” he suddenly realises something, in shock. “A number? Did they do this before? Are there others?”

Bruce purses his lips. “Looks like they tried a few times. She’s the only one who was viable.”

“Viable?” Steve spits out unthinkingly.

Hi! Thanks for finding my last fic youre so good! Looking for another one where Tony is kidnapped & he is brought to a room, Peter is kidnapped too and is a baby. They’re in this room together for years and then eventually they escape; they have powers and so does everyone else who escapes because of the experimentation that was done. I think it’s revealed the person who did this was Norman Osborn? But I’m not sure. But most of the fic is Tony raising Peter and teaching him & stuff. Thank you!!!
