she was born too a columbian mother, and unknown father, her mother, Roseanna Martinez had moved to britian for a fresh start from a bad relationship with a non sourcerer, joesph manning. her mother wanted to her daughter to know she was special, so she gave her a unique name; hydra, named after the greek mythology. hydra grew up with the worldy tales of the curses spirits and who the sorcerers worked to keep them at bay.
in school, she went fully to public school. she never went to a jujutsu school - as they weren't sure of the ones in the united kingdom - or if there was one. her mother taught her everything she knows.
works as a freelance exorcist of curses within the united kingdom, but travels ( for plot! )
she has taken on her mother’s last name, as her mother had always been there for her and her father was not. hyrda doesn’t let anyone’s judgement get in her way, if someone were to say she couldn’t do something, she would prove them wrong in a heartbeat. she calls herself british because that was where she was born and raised, but is proud of her mother’s heritage and embraces that too.
