8.7.21 Lunchtime drawing: I wish I could share the painting I'm working on with you, but in its place today is this Hydrangea, its name is derived from Greek and means ‘water vessel’ (hydria), in reference to the shape of its seed capsules. Also really trying to paint in the dark greens and shadows around the white flowers.
