Because of construction we have to walk around 3/4 of the school building to get from the 'playground' to our classroom's outside door. During the journey today this was the conversation I had with a student-
her: Do grown-ups take showers whenever they want?
Me: yeah...
her: sighs longingly
Me: Why?
her: Cause I would choose to never take a shower. I hate showers!
Me: Do you not like being clean or just being in a shower. Would you rather take a bath?
her: yeah a bath.
This is the second time she's talked to me about hating showers. I started remember at about that age (9) dreading my mom giving the evening shower schedule. (At that time we had 1 bathroom for a family of 5).
