having a chronic illness is miserable. I feel like such a burden to everyone in my life all the time
Hello everyone! So this is one of those emergency posts that I need to do. The kid in these pictures has hydrocephalus. They are asking for help for the continued medication, checkups, and surgery to reduce the fluid in his brain, and hopefully live longer. I believe this is a very urgent call for help so please, if you can see this, please share and reblog.
Their weekly expenses for his medication ranges from $1000-$2000, depending on the child's situation.
He his waitlisted for 2 years now for his surgery in a public hospital so they are hoping that if they can raise funds immediately for his surgery, they would choose to pay instead of waiting longer with no assurance.

A really sweet kitten from a hydrocephalus-specialized cat rescue that i follow just passed away unexpectedly and it made me really sad :(
Ferdy was an adorable little kitten who, just like Samatchi, had hydrocephalus. His health unfortunately took a turn for the worse, but while in their care, Kitkat Playroom did everything to monitor and manage his symptoms.
The rescue does great work caring for cats with hydrocephalus and even though we've only spoken once and I live on the other side of the planet, they have helped me tremendously with understanding Samatchi's case and how to care for it, as well as giving me hope for a future with my special little boy.
So please consider donating to them! 100% of the donations go to caring for the cats: food, toys, litter, vet bills etc. They can take all the help they can get with the former, which often reach astronomical amounts due to urgent hospitalizations and shunt surgeries. They also have an Amazon wishlist!

Can I just say I fucking HATE the fact that everyone in the Forsaken community just ignores the fact that C00lkidd canonically has a skin condition. Like that’s literally the canon reasoning behind why his skin is red. Like I NEED to see more people incorporate this fact into their designs and writing for Forsaken C00lkidd because it just feels kinda ableist. I also feel the same about people ignoring that Slasher has hydrocephalus too btw.

I had a dream where Megamind was actually a grown up Boss Baby and he had hydrocephalus and that’s why his head was so big
GAH! The heat's bad enough, but I don't get nearly enough credit for not murdering people who make me go out in this with a migraine :-( Anyone else suppressing murderous sun based rage?
Shout out to folks with Hydrocephalus!
