Jay! It's finally done! My Hygge CAL shawl is complete with lining fabric and I am so happy with it! It's just a shame it's to hot to wear it properly at the moment :(

Up next: edging, which should clean up the wonky edges, then lining 😍

The end is in sight! 14 and a half weeks, over 1,2 km of yarn and 40+ blocking pins further my Hygge shawl is as good as done. The finishing touch will be giving it a very nice lining fabric once it's dried. Which will likely take a week or so to do, but still, almost done now :)

This morning I finished week 8 of the Hygge CAL. It's getting so pretty and so big! This was the second part of the embroidery only pattern in the middle.

Finally done with week 11.  We are a good few days into week 12 already, but I've just spend so much time doing other things this week. Still, I'm not too far behind and the CAL is nearly over anyway. This week was the last week with embroidery on it, on to making more bobbles now!

I just finished week 12 of the Hygge CAL. Only 2 more weeks to go!! It's almost complete now :D I can pretty much not get it on a decent picture in it's entirety anymore now. It's as long as the bed is wide! :o It took me a little longer again to get this week done, I was having a real fight with the bobbles. Looking forward to finishing this and being able to wear it :)

And another week done! Finished week 9 just now. This is getting quite unwieldy to work on now, but it’s oh so pretty, and thus totally worth it :D

If anyone is wondering why I am still not done with the Hygge shawl. This is why.. Half the time I’m about to grab it miss kitty decides to park her butt on it :P
