Hyundai equips e-cars with 800V inverters in SiC technology

Vitesco Technologies, the spin-off of automotive supplier Continental for electric drives, has landed a big fish: The company is supplying an 800-volt SiC inverter for Hyundai Motor Group's new electric vehicle platform. The order volume is in the three-digit million euro range, and the quantities are likely to be correspondingly high.
