The universal color for corruption of a godly artifact is pink. And both godly artifacts DIRECTLY connect to the corruption that happens (evil pink and black monster takes control of it) and the player is directly connected to these artifacts either by creation, or a personal goal.

Hyper Light Breaker launches in Early Access on January 14, 2025 - Gematsu
Roguelite action game Hyper Light Breaker will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on January 14, 2024, publisher Arc Games and developer Heart Machine announced. It is expected to remain in Early Access for about one year.
“We’re thrilled to be a part of Day of the Devs: The Game Awards Edition and finally reveal that Hyper Light Breaker will be launching in Early Access in just a month,” said Heart Machine founder and creative director Alx Preston in a press release. “From all of us at Heart Machine, we really can’t thank our community, friends and colleagues enough for all of the support over the years and sticking with us as we’ve worked on our most ambitious project yet. Launching Hyper Light Breaker in Early Access will be just the beginning, as we want the community to be part of the game’s development journey. We really can’t wait for players to join us in the Overgrowth to bring Hyper Light Breaker to its full potential.”

The Heart Machine gaming experience. Hot protag ends up in this weird blood ocean place only to end up getting vibe checked by some pissed off entity that wants them dead for whatever reason.

he has scoured through numerous destroyed buildings by now. out of curiosity, boredom, or simply as a byproduct of coping with the whiplash waking up in another strange city without rhyme or reason, liquid attempted to ignore placing a reasoning. it changed repeatedly - he was content with falling into a weary sense of exploration thrill.
yet this scene he stumbles across now ... baffles him.
snails. they are definitely snails, in impressive numbers, slowly carving slimy paths across the floors and even up onto musty furniture. in the corner, they seem to congregate over a still form. it looks as though they are creeping over the body of a person, which in itself is strange, but the state of that person is impossible for liquid to ascertain at this distance.
slowly, and perhaps a bit warily, the blond steps over the snails, creeping ever closer to the seated figure. when he comes to a relatively harmless distance, further than an arm’s length, liquid crouches, peering at the half-concealed face of the other.
