Adam Curtis - HyperNormalisation
This is one of the most important things I've seen this year. If it has shown me anything, it's that humans are terrified of uncertainty (a.k.a. the future and losing control) and will go to great lengths to have some form of certainty/predictability, which leads to all kinds of dumb shit that gets out of control very quickly. And here we are, humans doing all sorts of irrational shit while completely distrusting each other and creating enemies out of each other, instead of each of us taking our own responsibility, working together and actually getting somewhere. This display of stupidity is completely unnecessary. Recently I've felt overwhelmed with the infinite possibilities life holds and all the stuff that's going on, but now I know they literally have no idea what's going on and what they're doing either. So how about working together to sort this mess out collectively, instead of throwing bombs.
