Also, how do you stay so patient in arguments? I would have been screaming unintelligibly and bashing my head against the wall a long time ago.
Practice and the knowledge that even if I don't change the mind of the person who I'm talking to, that the discussion might still benefit others who are reading it.
And being able to turn to my boyfriend and muttering "can you believe this bullshit? seriously?"

Hey :) I'm not being judgemental, I'm just curious. Why did you choose to use ze/zir as pronouns over they/their? :)
Part of it, from just a writing perspective, is that I find them sort of...challenging? Like, they still feel unnatural for me to use, and the only way to fix that is by using them a lot? I wanted the practice and the exercise of using them.
And part of it, from a character perspective, is that Icarus is the sort of person who would like having those really distinct, obviously different unsubtle pronouns. Like they/their seems like the more low-key choice, and Icarus is absolutely the opposite of a low-key person.

16. What is your favourite sex act? God. That’s really tricky, like how do you define sex act? I guess in the strictest definitions of the term I’d have to say my favourite sex act is dealing out cunnilingus, because for giving a partner pleasure I’ve yet to find an equal. (Hi to any followers I went to high or primary school with, and a more awkward hi to any family members checking up on my blog.)
