Hyperdelirium: Not an art prompt, but... it's in your submit because it's too long for your ask, erps.
I just read your post about having a cyst and it almost brought me to tears. I feel for you, I really do. I'm dealing with a [possibly growing] cyst in my spine. Recently the pain level has compounded and I am literally never not in pain. I can't sit, I can't stand, I can't lay down. Trying to draw is heartbreaking because on the rare occasions that I have an idea, I can't sit still long enough to work on it. I can't get comfortable. I can't settle in and focus on it. So when I read your post I kept thinking over and over "that sounds like me. So much like my life."
Anyway. My point is that it's kinda nice to know I'm not alone in dealing with this kind of thing. I hope it's some comfort to you too.

TT^TT Oh hey, now I feel for you, too! lol We can be cyst buddies. XD Yes the focus thing, that entirely. I can hyper-focus on things for long periods of time and that's kind of what I need in order to go any kind of work I like. So when I have this pain and it just... takes me OUT of my mindset, the focus being broken, it's upsetting.
I hope you have looked into treatment for your spinal pain, that can get very painful very fast (as I'm sure you've noticed!) in varying ways. I have life-long injuries to my pelvis and left hip that make sitting or standing or laying the wrong way painful daily, so there I can also somewhat relate with you. Constant pain, even in the mildest form, can get distressing if it is unrelenting. And when it spikes? I don't feel like doing anything with myself.
Thank you, it is nice to know I'm not alone! I just want to be pain free and draw for hours, is that too much to ask? T^T
