I feel like some of us forget about the circumstances how this story was written, this man participated wrote the first volume not expecting to win any prize but in fact he won got published under the shonen genre had to write two more volumes in intend to finish the story with three volumes but his story got so popular they expanded it so basically vol 3 finale didn't end up as the true ending, he had to continue the plot right and the censorship was still going strong even though he is trying his best to get around it but in my opinion it doesn't change the fact that sabikui bisco as a story is queer. He is literally using every single fanfiction trope to make milo and bisco canon in every universe in different ways it does not matter if we have a straight subplot because it's not significant it really doesn't matter.
