once my girlfriend and i were at my house watching a movie. we had been together for less than two months, so it was all still very new and we were both pretty shy.

i also happen to have hyperhidrosis so generally i avoid hand-to-skin contact with other people to avoid making them uncomfortable.

but under the blanket she found my hand and slowly interlaced our fingers and when i tell you my heart burst-

Hyperhidrosis affects every little aspect of my life. It affects what clothes I wear, what shoes I wear, what jobs I can have, my personality (I’m very closed off to people because of it), my hobbies (I love drawing and playing music but it’s hard with sweaty hands), using touch screens, how I act and what I can do in public. It's very hard, so please don't think "it's just a little sweat, how hard can it be?"

I love the internet because I finally can find people who I relate with so well.

I wish it were socially acceptable to wear gloves at all times
