“Well, I’m certainly reminded I’m not 30 anymore at least.” The wheezed, airy laugh couldn’t be helped even as he did his best to hide the worst of the matter. It wasn’t anything bad, just a normal scuff from the things trying to protect their territory. 

The issue came from the darkened splotch that dipped just around the corner of his mouth. That... hadn’t happened for some time. Feedback from the star? Or did he not feed through the star— 

Ponderings for another day when his energy didn’t feel less than it already was and he felt less like a used sock. “I’ll be fine after some rest, don’t worry.”
